The staff were very lovely and helpful. Lovely cosy place to stay. The pension was perfectly situated for the main shopping street and way access to public transport for the more touristy sites with some great cafes and restaurants very close by.

I Recommend This Hotel

Pension Peters is a budget hotel that offers good quality service. I stayed there for six days and I find my room adequate. I stayed in April where it was still cold for a guy from California so the heating was at a perfect temperature for me. The room was modest but I didn’t expect much at this price point. The bed was comfortable and the room was quiet. I couldn’t hear other people as I was sleeping which is a huge plus for me. I would recommend this hotel for the budget minded person who doesn’t mind missing the luxury of higher end hotels.

There were a few inconveniences. There was a sign on the door that the key was available at a bar on the corner. We got the key but it was not clear that this was for a side door next to the main door. Thanks to a passer by we were able to find out how to enter. I was not prepared for a 3 flight walkup with bags. They never changed the linens and the floors were dusty. After a long day of touring around on the next day the cleaning people showed up at 5 pm to clean? I am not sure they did much. It is a old building but I like that. The fellow running the Fruhstuck room was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was the typical German breakfast buffet and was good. Best thing about it was the location. Plenty of restaurants near by. Only a short walk to Savignyplatz S-Bahn, The location itself helped to overcome the other shortcomings. With a little care to mopping the floors, providing clean towels, a clearer note ahead of time about the key and the walkup I would change my rating to good.

Berliner Altbauflair, sehr authentisch. Unser Zimmer war riesig und sehr schön eingerichtet. Unweit von Bahnhof Zoo, Kudamm und Gedächtniskirche, jede Menge Gastronomie in der Umgebung. Das Personal war sehr sehr freundlich und das Frühstücksbuffet sehr gut mit reichlich Auswahl. Ganz klare Buchungsempfehlung!

Die Pension liegt direkt am Savignyplatz, also auch in fußläufiger Nähe zum Zoologischer Garten, dadurch hat man super Anschlussmöglichkeiten zur S-Bahn und zum Regionalbahnverkehr. Das Einchecken war kein Problem, wir wurden super freundlich begrüßt. Unser Zimmer lag im Innenhof, wodurch es ruhig war und wir die Möglichkeit auch hatten, uns in den Innenhof zu setzen. Wir waren nur für eine Nacht dort (Konzertbesuch), aber man hätte auch länger bleiben können.

Trop cher pour la qualité trop basique

La chambre au RDC ne correspond pas aux photos sur le site: pas cosy du tout, lit "double' juste 2 lits côtes à côtes sans tête de lit donc impossible pour un couple. Meubles d'occasion bon marchés. Vraiment trop cher pour ce que c'est.

The stay at Pension Peters was pleasant and comfortable. The staff was friendly and catered to every need. The room was simple, but spacious and clean. And most importantly conveniently located close to the S Bahn (making the connection to the airport super easy), in a beautiful area of the city. Whole-heartedly recommended!

Alles war in Ordnung, nur hätte ich mir einen Handtuchhalter im Bad gewünscht, gerade wenn man dasselbe Handtuch mehrmals benutzt. Vielleicht wäre auch ein Rutschschutz (irgendeine Gummiauflage) in der Dusche nützlich, zumal diese sehr eng war.

Statt dem Zimmer auf dem Foto hat man mir eine Ferienwohnung in einem Mehrfamilienhaus im 4. Stock angeboten. Es hatte zwar einen Lift, aber bis zum Lift waren 5 Stufen. Ich bin fast 80 Jahre alt und habe Rücken, daher war es mir unmöglich meinen Koffer zu zutragen. Die Wohnung war knapp 10 Minuten vom Hotel Peters entfernt, darum konnte ich auch nie zum Frühstück gehen. Das Bad mit Badewanne und Dusche konnte ich auch nicht benutzen, weil keinerlei Rutschmatte vorhanden war. Das wäre für mich viel zu gefährlich. Der Spiegel im Bad war so hoch, dass ich mich kaum sehen konnte. Ich bin jeden Tag im Hotel vorbei gegangen um zu reklamieren. Hat wenig genutzt. Ausserdem wurde es natürlich die ganze Woche nicht gereinigt oder die Wäsche gewechselt. Es war eine Zumutung und ich bin froh wieder daheim zu sein. Ich war sehr enttäuscht und würde dieses Hotel nicht weiterempfehlen. Als ich den Schlüssel abgab sagte man, dass man mir die Wohnung hätte gar nicht anbieten dürfen. Ausserdem ist es dich wohl gar nicht erlaubt so eine Wohnung als Ferienwohnung zu vermieten. Ich weiss nicht ob sie mir das Frühstück berechnet haben, dass ich nie eingenommen habe. Mein Bruder hat in der Nähe einen Kiosk und hatte mir Hotel Peters empfohlen. Das wird er in Zukunft nicht mehr empfehlen. Das habe ich auch im Hotel gesagt. Nun kann ich nur noch sagen „leider“ trotzdem habe ich mit meinen Geschwistern schöne Stunden erlebt. Ursula
