Great hotel. We really enjoyed our stay here. Perfect location near Alexanderplatz. Coffee pod machine in our bedroom was a lovely extra bonus too!

This was a lovely hotel. It was well connected and in a quieter area, so a great base to return to after a day of sightseeing. The breakfast was good and the staff were friendly.

Amazing breakfast buffet, small room
Although the room was quite small, we made do. We loved we could open the windows wide to let fresh air through, especially during this season when you want to ensure no germs are floating around. The highlight was definitely the breakfast buffet, that made up for any lack of space in the room. It was a proper thorough buffet with delicious options. We will be returning to stay here just for the buffet.

Lovely hotel. Great location
The only bad thing about the hotel was the church bext door ringing its bell every morning. Service was very good, rooms were a good size. Check in and check out were seeemles. Very good location, 15 mins walk from Alexanderplatz, a main transport hub.

It is a tiny room with no soap for the bathroom sink, just an all-in-one soap in the shower. I was also placed on the second floor, and outside the window was the garbage, so I had a 6 a.m. wake-up call each day. The most annoying thing to me was a single bed comforter on a queen-sized bed. Staff were all very nice, the room was clean and the bed was comfortable and it was a good location and felt like a safe neighbourhood.

Decent stay
Hotel is walkable to centre of Berlin (Alexanderplatz), was a nice room. However, air con wasn't quite working cool enough. Decent option for a stay for the price compared to others.

This hotel is clean and well maintained, and it is in a convenient location; unfortunately, the level of service and amenities is not corresponding to a 4 Star level at all - examples: only one free bottle of water upon arrival, or if the stay exceeds 5 days, this is simply annoying…; the room not even offers a pen and a notepad next to the phone; there is only one one big towel in the bathroom per person, no wash cloth…my feeling is that the management decided to save a little that way, and while this may work for the medium budget tourists who mostly seem to frequent this hotel, it is not adequate for a business traveller. The breakfast offers great variety, on the positive side, but the quality of the ingredients appears only as average. On a positive note, most of the staff is friendly and helpful.

We offer amenities like the bottle of water only at arrival day, just like a welcome.Unfortunately, we can only offer our usual service in the room to a very limited extent. Therefore, for health and environmental reasons, there are no additional amenities for our guests (shower gel, soap, shampoo, shower cap, bathrobe, shoehorn, slippers etc.) as one is used to. We agree with you, letters and pens are a nice welcome for our guests, but we have refrained from doing so for environmental reasons. We have Suite Pads on the where everything is explained and you can also order more towels or you have a choice of pillows. If necessary, our team at the reception will help you so that you don't go wanting. Kind regards,

Our kitchen has strict hygiene measures and if a case of poisoning actually occurs, we have to react immediately, report it to the health department and possibly warn other guests. Fine hotel but you some staff were quite rude and unhelpful (a few others were very friendly!). Reception was not friendly or helpful when I checked in, didn’t give me any information about breakfast, the gym, other amenities or things nearby etc. Later, I called reception to get a set of cutlery (there wasn’t even a spoon in the room) and a bowl to eat some food to which she replied I needed to come down and get it myself. I asked for the items in the very quiet bar and the waitress told me to ask in the restaurant rather than go fetch it herself. The lady in the restaurant greeted me with a frown and reluctantly came back with the cutlery and bowl. I asked for a glass of water in the bar another night and said tap water was fine, which the waitress (a different one) seemed annoyed about. She proceeded to less than half fill a small glass with water (so maybe 150ml?), so I asked if she could please fill it up more. She laughed and shook her head as if I was being ridiculous. I needed to take tablets and it wasn’t enough water but again she was quite rude about it. Other than that the hotel was in an okay location, not great but not terrible, about a 15 min walk to Alexander Platz. The gym was small but nice, the breakfast was decent and the hotel was decorated nicely. My room was a good size, even though it was at the front of the property it was quiet. Pillows were far too soft though and overall I didn’t sleep well. Overall a fine hotel but I wasn’t made feel very welcome.

Love this hotel. Have stayed multiple times over the past few years and it's even better since their stylish renovation. Super great value for the price. One of the more affordable hotels, and in a nice location next to a huge park Volkspark Friedrichshain that feels like a neighborhood, yet easy to access central parts of Berlin. The staff are always also very friendly.

At first sight when i arrived i expected a bigger room and a bigger bed but once i stayed there i loved every single detail they have and the staff was super friendly! The tv is connected with a casting so you can always be watching your tv show or any series online that’s what i did! I had a swimming competition and I stayed there last time and i did one of the best championships and this time it was the same and i qualified to worlds championship! so definitely i am coming back again! The WiFi and the beverage offered in the room spoiled the stay. The WiFi is free because there is no obvious cost to using it. However, you have to sign up to Ts&Cs to use it and you have to agree to allow all cookies. It also cuts out if you were not using it for a few seconds. The beverage in the room was poor quality and very limited. The sort facility which an accountant would choose rather than someone with knowledge of food and drink. We found that the staff were polite and helpful.

We offer amenities like the bottle of water only at arrival day in the room, just like a welcome. We decided us against a filled mini-bar or fridge as you will have at each floor a drink and snack automat with a bigger choice.
