Amazing atmosphere Good breakfast Too bad about my shower: good water pressure but I had to hold it in my hand, no where to hang it I told the manager the first day, but nothing got repaired

Veldig koselig pensjonat midt i smørøyet av Berlin! Gode spisesteder rett i nærheten, og alt du trenger i gangavstand. Atmosfæren på rommene var som en reise tilbake i tid, på en god måte

Magnifique hôtel.

Très bon séjour de 5 nuits. Avant tout, l'hôtel est magnifique, une plongée dans le début du XXe siècle, ancien logement d'une star du cinéma muet. Bon accueil, chambre calme. La chambre standard est très correcte, les supérieures doivent être géniales. Petit déjeuner buffet sucré salé très bien.

Reise in die Vergangenheit

Eine Unterkunft, die sich an Reisende richtet, die gerne in den Glanz vergangener Zeiten eintauchen. Das kleine Hotel ist in zwei zusammengelegten Altbauwohnungen an bester Lage in Berlin. Die Zimmer sind sehr individuell - mit allen Vor- & Nachteilen. Wenn man Glück hat, wird einem ein sehr prachtvolles Zimmer zugeteilt, mit weniger Glück dann halt eine eher bescheidene Loge. Weil das Hotel sehr klein ist, herrscht eine sehr familiäre Atmosphäre. Das Hotel bietet einem keinen opulenten Rund-um-die-Uhr-Service - dafür eine einigermassen authentische Reise in die Vergangenheit. Das Fehlen von TV und Radio trägt zur Entschleunigung bei (sofern man nicht aufs WLAN ausweicht...)

Funk får dig att fundera på tidens vingslag

Funk ligger i ett tryggt och säkert område precis intill Kudamm. Huset är gammalt och har en helt underbar charm. Möbler och inredning är från en annan tid. Det knarrar från golven och allt känns personligt. Personalen är personlig och bemödar sig för att du ska ha det bra. Frukosten är enkel men serveras i ett helt fantastiskt rum som får gästerna att tänka på annat. Parkering precis runt hörnet.

My friend and I stayed at the hotel for 3 nights and it was perfect! The facade of the building is beautiful and the street is in a great location, there is an underground station not even a 5 min walk away and an S-bahn about 10 mins away. The area is full of really lovely buildings and shops so we really didn't mind the walk at all. We found the area to be quite safe as well, it remained lively at night so it wasn't isolated and you have to have a key to the hotel in order to actually get inside the building which was very reassuring for 2 young women! We had a great room with a bathroom and had no problems at all in this regard. We didn't try the breakfast but it was a reasonable €6 a day. The only thing I would say is that there was no safe in the hotel room but the requirement for a key to get in the building gave us peace of mind. Also my friend found it a bit rowdy at night time, but I'm a heavy sleeper and can't say I share this complaint. If you're looking for something quirky in a good spot then this is the place for you! Thanks

Skønt sted på fasanen Straße med meget atmosfære og god service! Et stort plus var også at have litteraturhuset liggende lige over gaden, hvor man spiser god mad og får fantastisk betjening, åben til midnat!!

Gammalt hotell med vackra detaljer

När jag hittade Pension Funk på nätet var det ett givet val av hotell. Jag älskar dess gamla charm och historia. Helt ok frukost. Bra pris. Jättebra läge. Mycket fina gamla originaldetaljer som ger hotellet dess charm. Takhöjd ca 4 meter.

Sehr happig und insgesamt unschön

Absolut überteuert für die Verhältnisse: kein TV im Zimmer, ein unheimliches Telefon mit Wählscheibe, ein Minibad (oder gar Bequemlichkeiten auf dem Flur), und noch ältere Möbel gibt's einfach nicht! Man muss auch eine ziemlich steile Treppe hochklettern, der Aufzug geht ab dem 1. Stock. Am meisten hat mich das Frühstück gestört: wie unzureichend das Angebot war und wie spät es los ging: erst ab 7:30 h. Wenn man früh Termine hat, ist das gerade in Berlin ein Problem. Sonst war es ziemlich sauber, aber alles nicht auf dem heutigen Standart. Wenn es sehr günstig wäre, könnte man es sich überlegen, sonst geht es nun mal gar nicht! Das einzige: die Lage ist wirklich gut.

Das zimmer sollte nicht nebender waschküche sein.man solle hilfe bekommen die schweren treppen hinauf mit dem gepäck. Sonst wars schön.freundlich.frühstücksraum war ok.lage war nähe der u bahn .

Achtung kein Fernseher

hatte zwar budget ( Gemeinschafts-Bad und Toilette aber nirgendwo war angegeben, dass es keinen Fernseher gab. Das Mobiliar wird als authentisch Gründerzeit beschrieben, ichwürde das aber eher Sperrmüll-geeignet empfinden. Zimmer war wohl früher Abstell- bzw. Wäschekammer in einem hochherrschaftlichen Gründerzeithaus. Geworben wird damit, dass die Wohnung (beletage) von dem Stummfilmstar Asta Nielsen bewohnt wurde. Frühstück verhältnismäßig ordentlich im ehemaligen Salon. Lobenswert die Freundlichkeit in Reception und Frühstücksraum

Nice Pension, old style Berlin.

This is actually a nice Pension. Only the rooms with no bathroom are tiny. This is ok for one night but I would order another room for a longer stay. The location is great and the stiff very friendly. If you look for a cheap traditional Berlin experience you will not be disappointed.
