very lovely staff , in front of a section of the wall.. a very cute park close as well. you can see the tower from the street and nice coffee shops around . tram and metro in the same street .. perfect for a great stay in Berlin

Very nice, clean hotel if not slightly stark. Room large. No kettle in room as in UK hotels. Staff kind and courteous. Beautiful garden and pleasant outlook from the restaurant. Will definitely use again.

Clean, good size room with nice garden view. No luxury, stick to basic but color scheme is so pleasing. All people I came across, including front office, housekeepers, restaurant staff, were polite and helpful. Half of them don’t speak English but their helpfulness shown outwardly. They should emphasize that the hotel is just adjacent to the Wall Memorial, with street car stops in 50 meters. The best kept secret is the restaurant, the decor will please everyone with a nice private garden outside the floor to ceiling glass wall. Was an enjoyable stay. Highly recommended.

I booked a Classic Triple Room more than two months in advance. I was given a wheelchair-accessible room instead. I asked for another room and was then offered a Double Room. I accepted it, but I made it known that I was not pleased. I paid for a Queen bed, yet I slept on a Double. I wouldn't book this hotel again.

El hotel es bueno para su precio lo único que pasó fue que nuestro día de salida fue de madrugada y cuando bajamos a recepción no había nadie,estaba sola nos cansamos de llamar para hacer el check-out nos tardamos un poco para poder salir por que desde el hotel era que nos iba a llamar un taxi lo cual se nos hizo un poco difícil tuvimos que dejar las tarjetas de la habitación arriba del computador de la recepción

Sehr nettes Personal, nicht mit Kommunikations-Phrasen um sich werfend, sondern freundliche Menschen. Sehr gutes Essen im Restaurant, alles hausgemacht und sehr lecker. Sehr gut auch das Frühstück, liebevoll angerichtet, sehr gute Auswahl, qualitätvoll und auch hier vieles selber gemacht, vom richtigen Rührei bis zur hausgemachten Marmelade. Wir kommen wieder!

Au sommet du grenzfall hotel

Séjour dans “l’appartement” du 6e étage du Grenzfall Hôtel, situé juste au niveau du musée du mur de Berlin sur Bernauer Strasse (direct gare centrale). On avait le dernier étage de l’hôtel pour nous, avec une grande terrasse dans la chambre qui permet de se poser dehors au soleil. Nous avions réservé pour 6 donc 2 lits solo ont été ajoutés (1 dans chaque sous-chambre de l’appartement qui compte 1 anti-chambre, 2 chambres et 1 salle d’eau). Le seul inconvénient est qu’il n’y a qu’une salle de bains dans laquelle se trouvent les toilettes, pour 6 personnes ça demande de l’organisation. La déco est minimaliste, mais il y a tout ce qu’il faut et les lits sont très corrects. Emplacement de l’hôtel excellent, personne présente à l’accueil toute la nuit, emplacements pour garer ses vélos juste devant (location fortement conseillée à rent a bike 44 Berlin, ca vaut le déplacement !). Le petit déjeuner est trop cher et ne vaut pas le coup, allez plutôt vous poser au Rabbit café à 5 min à pied qui est très sympa et bien meilleur.

sehr unfreundlicher checkin, es war sonst niemand da aber ich musste 5 Minuten warten bis mit mir gesprochen wurde. Lift Knöpfe haben nicht wirklich funktioniert aber es wurde nicht erklärt sondern nur mit Augenrollen gezeigt. Raum war groß aber hatte immer einen leichten Geruch, und Zimmer wurde bei 3 Nächten Aufenthalt kein einziges Mal gereinigt, Wasser wurde nicht ersetzt, etc. Preis war ok.

Ich habe mich gefühlt als ob ich in ein Krankenhaus schlafen musste. Die Betten ware auch Schrecklich. Ich würde diese Unterkunft auf jeden Fall nicht empfehlen.
