Convenient location
This hotel is super-convenient to the S-bahn circle route, and there are a few nearby restaurants. My room was a little bit unhappy with Ikea furniture that had seen too much use. But, the staff is super-friendly, breakfast is good, and the rates are fair. Would definitely be happy to stay here again.

Quiet hotel in SW area of Berlin
Nice quiet residential area - right across from a metro stop. Near where our son and daughter-in-law are living. Really enjoyed the Paul Klee colors and designs throughout the hotel.

Absolutely lovely hotel
Loved my stay! Staff was very accommodating, breakfast was an absolute delight (everything you could imagine -- plus an espresso machine and 8 types of coffee.) room was clean and well-appointed and spacious. Saw a lot of Berlin and this quaint, quiet picturesque platz (friedrich-Wilhelmi Platz) is right between an UBahn station, and S-barn station, and major bus lines. Wouldn't dream of staying anywhere else in Berlin. Loved this place and it was an exceptional value.

Love this place and will return!
Fabulous staff. They were happy to store my bag when I took an overnight to Rome and my luggage was waiting in my new room upon return. Breakfast is amazing! Gorgeous, quiet neighborhood in easy walking distance between two S-Bahn stations. Most heartily recommend!

Cool design, practical and convenient
The room was lovely. The layout and design are very cool and practical. The shower unfortunately had a bit of mould in the sealant so that looks a bit gross. Nothing major but still not great in a hotel. Very practical location - right next to the U-Bahn station so perfect if you don't mind not staying in the centre. You're in town very quickly with this line. I would stay here again!

Room was small and fixtures outdated. Not the cleanest place we stayed. Location was close to the u bahn but was generally far from anything else. All places to eat nearby were closed before 7pm.

Relaxing and Comfortable.
The staff was very friendly and the food at dinners with room service was great. Multilingual staff, they speak spanish, english, etc.

lots of unpleasant surprises
This place looks great, modern, clean, large rooms, but there are all sorts of hidden caveats that were not mentioned on Hotels.com. Parking is NOT free, it costs 15 euros per night and you have to reserve in advance because apparently, their parking facility is inadequate. So we ended up having to hunt for a parking spot at night. The wifi is mediocre at best, so don't count on reliable internet access because it is slooowwwww. The beds are hard and lumpy, I can feel the coils in the mattress. The breakfast was lovely but coffee and tea are not included?! The laundry service is highway robbery; it's itemized and a single pair of socks costs almost 3 euros, nevermind the cost of having shirts and trousers washed. It was a very unpleasant surprise considering I arrived with two weeks of laundry that I was counting on having it done here, but the total would have been well over 100 euros! The location isn't wonderful either, but at least I was aware of that before I arrived and was ok with it because of the good price, but all the other unexpected surprises negated whatever value I thought there was.

Totally recommend it
The hotel is located at a nice and quiet residential area, just a few steps from a U-bahn station a few hundred metres from the S-bahn. The room was nice and there was Free WiFi, fast enough for normal browsing, occasional streaming (there was a short disruption on my 3rd day) The bathroom was very large, almost as big as the room, but the shower was not enclosed (no tubs, frames or curtains) which made it not ideal. The bathroom's entrance was a sliding glass which might make you a bit uncomfortable if you have company ;)

Good hotel, so so location and a little noisy
Good hotel, but don't stay on a Saturday night. We were woken by church bells at 6am on the Sunday morning. The sound proofing isn't the best, so also heard sirens and other noise during the night. The beds weren't the most comfortable either. On the plus side, the hotel is modern and has good air con. The sauna is excellent and the underground is a 1 minute walk away.

Pleasant and attractive part of Berlin, a few yards from coffee and cake cafe, and very cheap supermarket. A few yards from underground and walking distance to overground station. To get to and from schoenfeldt airport, change at hermanstrasse.

the hotel is quite nice. There was hair in my room in the bathroom on my first night. I had to clean up a bit, but overall the room was generally clean and the staff was helpful. The location is a bit far from many of the tourist attractions, as a result it took a while to get around the city, but the neighbourhood where the hotel is located is quite.

Worth for the price
This was our first visit to Berlin and we stayed 3 nights in this hotel. Even though the hotel is bit far from the city center U-bahn station (U9 – Friedrich-Wilhelm-Platz) is just 100m down the road hence could reach any destination in a short time. The hotel staff was kind enough to look after our baggage before checkin and after the checkout. We were little bit worried about the WiFi reception reading some other comments, but in the room we stayed it was perfectly fine. The hotel located in a very good neighborhood. There is a coffee shop across the street, but it is not opened late in the day. For us the only disappointment was lack of facility to have our own tea/coffee in the room. Funny thing is it had all the necessities except the electric kettle itself. (even the kettle base was provided). Asking for a kettle also did not help, hence our conclusion was the hotel may be seriously in financial difficulties so couldn’t afford an electric kettle. If you plan to stay in the summer the air conditioning could be serious issue. During the days we stayed, the outside temperature was around 10-15 C. In the room we’ve adjusted the temperature to lowest minus level possible and it was good enough to stay just okay without been boiling. If you are okay living with the opened windows then everything is fine. The room cleanliness is very good, so does the size of the room. Overall it is very pleasant experience staying in this hotel.

The hotel is located in a quiet neighborhood, really close to the subway. The room was big enough and clean. The staff was nice and gave good advices about sites and restaurants. Good WiFi.

Comfortable stay
Breakfast was awesome. Room clean and spacious enough. Loved the walk in shower design. Location is close to the train station which gets you pretty much anywhere you'd need to go.
