In der Zimmerbeschreibung stand „privates Badezimmer“ welches aber nicht in direkter Anbindung zum Zimmer sondern in einem Vorraum aufzufinden war. Von außen nicht abschließbar was es dem Zimmernachbarn welcher den selben Vorraum nutze ermöglicht hat dieses Badezimmer auch zu nutzen. Auf Nachfrage meinte das Personal das ja jeder weiß wem welches Bad gehöre und dann auch dementsprechend dieses nutzen sollte. Was in unserem Fall leider nicht funktioniert hat. Also bestanden wir auf ein neues Zimmer. Dieses hatte dann ein Bad direkt im Zimmer. Leider war dies so elendig dreckig, das wir uns erneut beschwert haben. Das Personal von der Rezeption entschuldigte sich und bemühte sich sehr, was auch das einzig positive an dem ganzen Hotel war. Ich bin mit wenig Erwartungen ins Hotel gegangen und trotzdem wurde ich enttäuscht. Ein billiges Hotel sollte nicht unhygienisch heißen. Nie wieder.

Dieses Hostel bräuchte mal ein komplettes makeover. Wir waren in anderen a&o Hostels, die gepflegter und sauberer waren. Ich habe die Bettwäsche abgezogen und darunter wartete das Grauen, auf Decke und Kissen große gelbe Flecken, sowie auf der Matratze weiße Flecken. Im Bad roch es die ganze Zeit nach Urin, dicker brauner Rand im WC Becken. WC Brille schief. Die Armatur am Waschbecken sehr verkalkt, und das Abflussrohr verkeimt von außen. An der Decke im Bad ein schwarzer größerer Wasser/Schimmelfleck. Man hatte das Bad nicht im Zimmer, das ist in diesem Hostel nicht ersichtlich in der Buchung. Man kann das WC mit persönlichen Sachen nicht von außen abschließen und nebenan ist noch ein Zimmer mit Bad. Man hat einen Vorraum, wo Zimmer .12 und .13 zusammen in den Vorraum rein können. Hab ich so bei den anderen a&o Hostels nicht erlebt. Fand ich irgendwie gruselig, wenn man z.B. nachts zur Toilette muss und erst in den Vorraum muss. Ich habe über Expedia gebucht, Die Mitarbeiterinnen an der Rezeption sind dafür super nett.

Elevator was not working. Bathrooms were not working. Coffee machines were not working. Check-in was a hassle. I complained to reception on several occasions to fix the bathroom but it wasn’t taken care of the entire floor smelled like poop. The entire staff was rude and not helpful except for Basem and the Kind Indian girl at the reception. My stay was very unsanitary and I would never stay here again. I request a refund.

Der Aufenthalt war leider nicht ganz zufriedenstellend. Die Dusche war nicht sauber, hinter dem Bett befanden sich Spinnennetze und Spinnen. Außerdem funktionierte das Licht am Bett sowie der Fernseher nicht. Es wäre wünschenswert, wenn auf Expedia deutlicher ersichtlich wäre, dass es sich bei der Unterkunft um ein Hostel handelt. Diese Information hätte meine Buchungsentscheidung beeinflusst.

I know it’s about budget hotel/hostel but it’s a bit of a ride from the city center. For those of you don’t mind take the bus or public transportation, it’s good. But I’d never come stay here again. I just didn’t realize it’s not convenient riding on bus and train. There’s a lot of road construction. Traffic isn’t that good. The property is located at a outskirt with loads of residential areas. Lots of immigrants. The staff is also short at times in the front desk. I didn’t have a good experience checking in. I have an Asian look but I’m an American so that front desk manager wasn’t so nice to accommodate my check in. He just said I had to do a self check in and really didn’t sound polite or friendly.

Billigt ja, men det afspejler sig også i hotellets stand, manglende rengøring, blandede oplevelser med personalets service og manglende opfyldning af morgenmad. Halvdelen af sengene var redt og værelserne og badeværelse var beskidte.

Rimelig og grei beliggenhet

Valgte dette hotellet som en mellomstopp på en lengre reise. Greit og finne frem til, få parkeringsplasser, men vi fikk plass. Stort hotell med mange gjester, virker og som om det er flere skolegrupper som benytter seg av dette hotellet. Så det vanker mange ungdommer i gangene, resepsjonen og ellers rundt hotellet, men dette plaget aldri oss. Stor frokost-sal med overaskende ok utvalg. Rommene er slitt og bærer preg av alder. Dårlig luft på en varm sommerdag. Privat bad, men badene ligger ute i gangen som to rom deler, men rommene har vert sitt bad. Vi hadde et ok opphold og valgte hotellet grunnet pris og beliggenhet.
