"Just returned home today from a 2 night stay with my partner and the dogs.The cottage is in a beautiful remote location and easy to find. Contactless check-in was simple and easy and to be honest, our preferred method. Kitchen was fully equipped with all utensils we could need and more!The whole place was clean, tidy and fresh and the dog basket with blankets and treats is a cute touch that the dogs appreciated. As stated the bathroom is small but it's all clean and in working order and serves it's purpose. Garden was well maintained and tidy and goes around the whole cottage which is great for the dogs to be able to jump out the car and run around! Outdoor tap and plug sockets which was a bonus for the ninja BBQ.Town just a short drive away with a free public car park with ev chargers.Beautiful places to go explore and would definitely recommend!Also due to remote location and lack of light pollution the view of the sky at night was absolutely insane! I've never seen as many stars in the sky so make sure to look up if it's clear!"

"On arrival the cottage was spotlessly clean. Lovely welcome pack with tea and milk in the fridge. Lovely location with great walks in and around, and when we came back to the cottage we could warm up with the fire.Great place for a break and to enjoy the outdoors. Would highly recommend. Well positioned for walks and local pubs were good. Probably the best cottage we've been to and we take at least 14/ 15 per year."

"We had a fantastic time at Inglenook Cottage. There was everything we could need on arrival, including a very detailed welcome pack which was great as we didn’t know the area too well, and some lovely surprises.The cottage was lovely and clean, and clearly extremely well thought through and loved by the owners. Bathroom and kitchen nice and modern, but with the overall character of the house maintained.We had 4 guests and it was the perfect size for us - the original character of the cottage means that a few floors are uneven and there are low ceilings and beams on the top two floors, but we didn’t find that a trouble at all. One of the best I’ve stayed in."

"I had a lovely 4 nights stay at Penny Black Cottage. The accommodation was clean and cosy. The bed was so comfortable that I felt ‘fully refreshed’ each morning; and the view from the bedroom window was amazing - you could see for miles!There is a lot of road noise, but it didn’t affect my ‘holiday’ at all. I hope to return later in the year."
