"The Riu Aquarelle is a nice resort. The pools were nice and clean but very loud!! The staff was very friendly and nice. The drinks were just ok ! The biggest problem was our room smelled musty. The shower was dirty and the floors were dirty, I think they need to clean better!! The buffet was pretty good and had alot of choices. The Ala cart restaurant reservation system is not good!! I had to go online at midnight to reserve."

"I enjoyed my stay overall, but there are a couple of areas that could be improved. I would have appreciated more food options available at the adults-only pool. Additionally, I was not informed in advance that attending a timeshare presentation lasting over two hours was part of the experience. Had I known beforehand, I likely would have chosen a different resort."

"This has the potential to be five star rated but unfortunately during my very short stay there was construction happening and i dont feel i was able to experience/enjoy all the amenities. Also, there were only had a handful (literally) of guest, including myself, which made it somewhat of a weird feeling - if you go with a group this would be most excellent for y'all. All the staff were friendly and extremely accommodating and the food that we ordered (escovich fish, jerk chicken, Jamaican breakfast) were all excellent. We also had a little live entertainment which was nice. I honestly wouldn't mind returning after all the reconstruction is complete and see how it all turns out. "
