Bendigo is known for more than just the 1850's Gold Rush! Come and explore the wineries, fine restaurants, the Art Galleries, the Capital and Ulumbarra Theatres. Other magnificent buildings such as the Sacred Heart Cathedral, the original post office and law courts and the Shamrock Hotel. Set off on a short walk to the city, Rosiland Park and into the Arts precinct or a short drive to the local wineries. Come back home to have dinner across the road at the National Hotel and walk next door for breakfast at the bakery in the morning. Or cook yourself something in the kitchen whilst sampling your newly purchased wine, before heading back to the theatre for the show.
The next day walk across the road to take a tour of the historical underground gold mine and then a city tour via the talking tram. The best of Bendigo at your front door and a private secluded deck and garden for after the adventure.
