"This place was wonderful! Everyone was so nice. The ladies at the desk gave me a lot of information about the area and we had a wonderful time going to the Zoo in Leighton and a huge shopping and eating place called Country Junction. So much to do! Their beds are absolutely comfortable. Room was clean. Bathroom had a huge shower with two shower heads and so relaxing. If your going to Jim Thorpe do not go in the month of October!!!!"

"The 7 bed/7 private bath home served our group of 14 70 year olds very well. We cooked in for 3 of our nights, ate cooked breakfast in every morning and lunch was piecemeal. The kitchen was small for 7 women trying to prepare and clean up meals, but it was very well stocked. There were ample pots and pans, all sizes of baking and prep dishes. 2 coffee pots and a Keurig met our hot beverage needs. A drink frig was a big plus. The front living area had 2 futons and chairs for seating, but our group found those hard to get out of with our various knee, hip and back issues. Would have appreciated sofas rather than futons. The property is lovely. It could use a bit of work by trimming bushes so the ground floor rooms can enjoy the view a bit more.For our group, the bedrooms could have used more lighting. The back den with the 2 recliners was very popular, but again, the only other seating was a futon. That room could use more lighting as well.The upstairs rooms all have walk-in showers and extra seating. We loved the spacious dining room that seated us all. A representative of the host greeted us and walked us through any questions we had. The host was super responsive to questions and provided extra linens and light bulbs. Our favorite was s’mores around the firepit. Wood is available locally. We enjoyed our fall adventure in the lovely Lakeview Lodge. Thank you."

"Cabin was very nice and clean. Comfortable beds. Kitchen was well stocked with everything you’d need. My only suggestion would be to add a few grab bars in the bathrooms for the senior set. We enjoyed the lovely area and the lake. Had a fun time."
