House was roomy! Porches have beautiful views. It was nasty weather so we didn’t get to use the dock, but it was nice to have. Many more dishes and seasonings than I normally see in a rental. Only things to consider, drive way is very steep and one 2wd car that was there had problems getting up with the weather. Hosts were responsive and made every effort to accommodate any request I had.
We normally have a family reunion trip in Branson every year in September. The golf costs have gotten outrageous there so we decided to try NWA this year. We could not have asked for a more amazing place for our fun! The men enjoyed the beautiful golf courses that are minutes from the home, and the girls and kids enjoyed the shopping and sites so close. Managers checked in several times during our stay to make sure everything was going well.
We will stay here again soon!
This property was amazing for our large family, only made better by the amazing host! We enjoyed all aspects of the home but most, especially the screened in porch - It was an absolute delight. The walk down to the dock is rather treacherous, but once you get there, it is peaceful and a great place to fish. The house had all the amenities you would need for cooking, Laundry, Games for the family, Lifejackets… Etc.. We spent a week here as a family of 11 and couldn’t have had a more enjoyable time!
Loved the house it was in a beautiful setting. The windows were very nice and you could see different views from each set. The fireplace was a nice addition as was the snow, don’t know how he arranged that. We had one little problem with the clothes dryer and that was taken care of almost within the hour. Just an all around great stay.
This was a great location for our golf outing, close to all the courses we were playing. The guys loved having their own rooms. we were very comfortable with this stay and are talking about making this trip a couple of times a year.
Only down side is it sleeps 14 but only has 7 forks to eat with. we had other friends over for dinner and was short on the eating utensils. Thanks
This is a wonderful home that is very clean, spacious, plenty of bedrooms & bathrooms, excellent mattresses, well furnished and they even provide fishing poles, kayaks and life jackets!! There were 4 couples staying here for our family reunion and the home was plenty large to allow quiet space for all while accommodating as well for fun times in the large living room and on the two back decks to watch tv, play games, read and just hang out & chat. The fishing dock was awesome as well for a gathering place to fish and kayak and then the ping pong table on the lower level of the home became quite a popular spot as well! The only challenge is the driveway since we had 4 vehicles but we made it work to fit them all. What a great place!
The home was very spacious. Plenty of room for our family to hang out. Everyone loved the ping pong table. Driveway is a little tough to navigate but with some help everyone was able to manage and we were able to park 4-5 cars. I would say the home is more like 6 bedrooms vs 7 though as you have to walk through another bedroom to enter/exit that room. It would’ve also been nice to have more spare linen so if you plan on bringing air mattress or sleeping on the couch then make sure to bring your own pillows and linens! All the bathroom locks could use replacing too as they didn’t really lock. These are just small details. Overall the home served its purpose and we all had a wonderful time.
Just steps away from a pristine lake! We really loved the open floor plans on the top and bottom floors. Bedrooms were large, beds comfy. Big TVs. Ping Pong. Great access to nearby trails. The house had a very helpful guide that lead us to a near by waterfall! Highly recommend you check this out.
Host was very responsive and resolved the few issues we had quickly. I would encourage the host to purchase new kayaks and paddles. The equipment provided was a bit disappointing but we made it work!
For any active guests, make sure you sign up for a guest pass with the HOA. This is a requirement to use the beach and swim dock.
Thanks for a great stay. We will be back next year!
I chose this house to accommodate family and friends and allow everyone to spread out while in town for my daughter’s wedding. This house definitely allows for this. Beautiful location and easy access to everything!
My rating for cleanliness is lower due to a few oversights that should always be addressed between stays. A used and not flushed toilet, leaves were not blown from deck and driveway. They were heavily covered and my brother spent time taking care of it. The upstairs fireplace was not emptied of coals. We had to spend time cleaning it out prior to use. Garage trashcan and screened deck trash not emptied.
Suggestions; provide fire starters, change lightbulbs to ensure adequate lighting; lamp in upstairs bedroom doesn’t work nor ceiling fan light. garage door opener didn’t work (battery?), downstairs shower door doesn’t shut.
Parking Note: We had lots of car shuffling due to extremely steep driveway. If multiple car use, it could be an issue for parking.
Other than these things, we all enjoyed the stay here and I do recommend for large gatherings!
Home was better than advertised. Plenty of room for a larger family with several adults. The layout was perfect and the home was comfortable. The only complaint was that the beds had not been cleaned under for quite some time so fishing things that had slid under there was a little sketchy. The toilets also needed some good scrubbing but nothing too bad. Communication was amazing and all in all we were very happy with our stay and would stay again!
Lovely house with amazing views from the rooms and deck. Plenty of space to spread out and very comfortable. The location is great, close to many awesome hiking trails and fishing spots.
Great house for a big group to stay. We played all of the Bella Vista courses. This house was close to them and provided a nice relaxing place to hangout when the golf was done. Owner was very communicative. Would definitely stay again.
Was good layout for family. Hard to get to dock and tree down by dock so unable to swim like we wanted. But Avalon Beach was close so we went there instead.
To start, we were unpacking and the owner of the property came to introduce himself. Very nice! Went inside and the home is immaculate, beautiful and the location is amazing! Could not have asked for anything more. Will definitely visit here again.
The house size was perfect for our family Christmas gathering. We were all inside mostly due to chilly weather. Large open spaces and so many bedrooms. We did ask for an earlier check in at 3pm vs. 4pm and were approved. Our complaint is there were lights out in the master bath and kitchen. We found a blown breaker, which we fixed. The lack of cleanliness was noticed almost immediately. The floors had dirt and crumbs all around. The high chair had food and crumbs left in it. The beds and baths were lacking with dirty floor mats and trash still in the cans. Our master bedding had questionable stains….Outdoor areas were not good. The grill was dismantled with the cover lying in a pile of leaves, a soft deck board was a little scary. The vent fan in the master bath sparked when turned on and needs checked. It was filthy with dust and cob webs, and could possibly be the cause of the blown breaker. The dust and grime on the air returns says it’s obvious there has not been a deep clean in some time. The dock and kayaks were in sad shape even if the weather was clear. Again, space was great, but I would suggest some extra cleaning and maintenance.
