Close by is the Basilica of Begona and walking distance down the steps to Plaza de Miguel de Unamuno, where we heard performers singing on the balcony; close to Bilbao Museum and funicular which was closed due to inclement weather. Beautiful hotel and the pool would be ideal in the summer. First night was disappointing because their WiFi was flaky.

Very good hotel. Great staff and very modern and clean. A little bit out of town but close to a met stop.

OK hotel
Posted 2 Sep. 2019 on HotelsAs others have said, the bed is comfy and the room is a good size. However for a 4 star hotel, most things were extra. You get a safe free of charge, and pool towels. But you have to pay if you want to use the pool after check out, for the gym and indoor pool and breakfast. Also there isn't the availability of a room or shower area to freshen up before your flight. The pool area is nice, and you get a lot of space. But the hotel is a decent walk from town. Going there it's fine, down hill, but walking back on a hot day is quite unpleasant, and we're pretty fit people. It has a bar that isn't expensive really, and there are some shops a short walk away for breakfast or other items. Hotel is fine if you want a pool, but if you dont I would definitely stay closer to town. Some staff were lovely and really helpful, but some were really miserable. I probably would choose somewhere closer to the centre next time.

Good stay
Posted 26 Aug. 2019 on HotelsExcellent hotel. Although it is away from the centre and up lots of steps on the way back we could cope with this easily and were in the old town in 10 minutes. The pool was also great if a little crowded. I think that the hotel should make it clearer that the gym costs extra.
