Quite and clean

I took my son and his friend to anglers paradise for fishing and it was an opportunity for me to live the experience of nature so I spent a night in the hotel away from stress and usual things I do everyday The enjoyed the adventure of fishing day and night I recommend this hotel to anyone

A hidden Gem.

Great little Pre Christmas break. Coincided with Brass band playing carols. Lovely accommodation and a roaring open fire. Very cosy and festive. Great service from the owners and staff. Fantastic breakfast and food and drink available in the pub or restaurant. What’s not to like.

Aug 2021 visit.

Lovely hotel, extremely clean and comfortable room, good food and excellent service. Only complaint was that the noise insulation between my room and my neighbour's was poor. I could hear conversations in the room next door clearly and had to ask my neighbours to be quiet, at midnight, as they were keeping me awake. They were not being loud, but the walls were paper thin.

Absolutely lovely. Very nice staff cheery and welcoming from the reception to the barman and the waitress. Just what a good English pub should be. Cosy and friendly. They even posted a piece of my van that dropped off in the carpark to me after I had left.

A great place to chill and relax.

Management and staff went out of their way to accommodate our requests - as no meals were being provided on New Years eve, they made my wife and I sandwiches to have in our room. The inn is VERY dog friendly and there were some nice interesting walks around the village for our 4 legged companion.

My wife and I had a wonderful three nights at the Half Moon Inn at Sheepwash. Our room was very nice and clean with very comfortable double bed. Lovely breakfast/dining room or dinner was available in the bar area. Excellent food, helpful and friendly staff, good parking. Would definitely return.

We returned after a lovely visit approx 4 years previously. Relieved to see the same team there despite new management and food was as fantastic as we remembered. Small historic village

Very nice and very small village with a history of washing sheep, hence the name Sheepwash. Lovely pub and inn.

A great place to escape from the rat race.

A gem of a place for a quiet escape. Real log fire, great good value food and drink and a very warm welcome. Well appointed spacious ensuite room with a really snug comfortable bed leading to a good night's sleep. Excellent choice and quality of food for breakfast.

Friendly and cosy

A very friendly welcome awaits you at this tippical Devon Inn, the rooms are extremely clean and comfortable, plenty of space in the wardrobe with lots off hangers, there was tea, coffee and even hot chocolate in the room along with bottled water and biscuits. Breakfast was wonderful, toast, fresh fruit, yogurt, ect, and a freshly cooked breakfast the size of which even defeated my husband.
