"The property was nice. We just wish that we would have been informed before booking and paying about the animal friendly cabin not allowing pets on furniture and no pet hair left on the property. It was a bit stressful trying to make sure we had our own comforters everywhere just to make sure we left no mess behind. We even slept on our own bedding because we were scared our dogs would try to jump up. Luckily they are small and love their dog bed. But it is beautiful and the cabin is great! Very accommodating. Very relaxing on the deck. Clean and comfy. I love the rock shower! Overall, would love to go back without pets to really enjoy the experience."

Bear Trap - Truly Secluded Cabin on 2 Acres of Pine Forest with a Waterfall Pool

"The Bear Trap is secluded and a great place to stay. Be sure and read everything as we missed the pool was not opened. It had everything we needed to cook meals. The biggest complaint is the road that leads to the cabin. We had two trucks and I would not drive a car to get to the cabin. There was a medium size wash out and glad we had 4 wheel drive. I did see cars going up to the other cabin but I would not take our Lexus on that road. I reached out to the owner about the road before the trip but got no response. I had a couple of questions while we were there and they were answered immediately. The place was clean, beautiful and a great place to rest. National park was very close by and the hiking trails were nice."

"Actually we were very disappointed with the property. Hooks and paper roll were coming off the wall, cracks in the wall, no stopper in sink, no working tv stations without membership, paint job is terrible, no black out curtains so outside light shone in all night. 95% of the time there were no employees. Will not return."

"Cabin was immaculately clean. Well stocked kitchen. Amazing bathroom with large shower. Even had shampoo, conditioner, and body wash in the shower. Very quiet and perfect location to get to Beavers Bend state park and to all the restaurants. We give it a 10/10 and will definitely go back."

"Beautiful house and views. Finding the house at night was challenging, so I would suggest arriving before dark. The gravel road for the last 50 yards was very bumpy, and an improvement of the road would be nice. The house itself was fantastic!"
