Wonderful Beauvallon
This house is so beautiful it is difficult to express in words. The photographs do not show just how amazing this place is. The grounds are extensive and the children and dogs had a fantastic time playing and exploring. The pool area is well maintained with plenty of seating and shade, and is fenced to prevent accidents. The house itself has plenty of comfortable accommodation (we were a group of 15) and with all necessary facilities for bathing, cooking etc. Apparently the owner's family had lived there for 500 years and the wealth of history was apparent throughout the house. I cannot emphasise enough how lovely this place is. Although the location is very rural it is only a short drive from a pretty town, Marmande, which is well supplied with supermarkets, plus outdoor market on Saturdays with local produce. There are good train links to Bordeaux, buses to Bergerac and other lovely towns within easy driving distance. I thoroughly recommend Beauvallon and hope that we will return in future.

Heel karaktervolle woning met stetk verouderd interieur, stoffige en mysterieuze kamers. Huis is perfect voor groep van 8 personen. Slapen kan tot 15 personen. Keukentafel moet van de eigenaar binnen binnen blijven zodat grotere griepen telkens met stoelen van de ene buitenpkaats naar de andere moeten zeulen, ofwel in shiften moeten eten.

Romantisches Geisterschlösschen
Vom ersten Augenblick an verliebt. Das Haus ist voll mit Geschichte. Das ein oder andere Spinnenweb ist bei der Größe des Objktes und der Menge an Einrichtungsgegenständen einfach unvermeidlich. Wer auf der Suche nach Luxusurlaub ist, ist hier falsch. Wer Atmosphäre liebt und die Einsamkeit der Lage ist richtig. Wir haben jeden Augenblick genossen mit 10 Erwachsenen und 4 Kindern. Der Pool wurde regelmäßig gewartet. Danke für die schöne Zeit

Idéal pour Grandes familles et amateurs d'histoire :)
Voyage en Aquitaine et bond dans le temps à l'occasion de nos dernières vacances hivernales : ce domaine de Beauvallon est un véritable Manoir niché au pied des coteaux viticoles du Marmandais. Multiples chambres et salons, ambiance XIXe par endroits, bibliothèques pleines de trésors, vaste parc, chapelle ... : idéal pour accueillir une grande famille, chacun y trouvant sa place. On peu même y jouer à cache cache ! Toutes les commodités à moins de 5km (Grand hyper Leclerc, ville et gare de Marmande), qui cassent un peu l'ambiance "coupé du monde" mais sont rudement pratiques. A découvrir en été sûrement, pour mieux profiter du parc, des alentours, du Lot et Garonne et de la piscine. En attendant, nous avons profité des cheminées. Un peu désuet pour ceux qui aiment l'aseptisé, mais idéal pour qui aime "l'authentique". Quelques literies (parmi les petites 90cm) gagneraient à être plus confortables, mais ensemble tout à fait recommandable.

L’endroit est plein de charme, authentique. Les alentours immédiats n’ont pas énormément d’attrait mais certains petits villages vers le nord sont à découvrir.
