"Beautiful lodge, bathrooms were a bit dated but otherwise it had all the amenities one needs. Close to a camp store with good food options and kid friendly hikes."

"It was nice to see the sunset along with family. The park was too good to spend timeout. Staying in this hotel was the right choice as I was traveling from far. Room was neat and clean, as it is inside forest be aware of some insects to enter as guests :). We experienced it but it was ok."
Shenandoah National Park - Sauna - Log Cabin - Treehouse - Game Room
10/10 Excellent
"What a wonderful stay. Home was very clean and cozy. We enjoyed how many games were available for our family to play together. We did not use the treehouse, but we peeked in and it was so neat! Loved our little walk to the creek. And the pond was really pretty. We were the only ones there the both times that we went down. It was a little difficult to find, but the directions in the binder were so helpful!"
Mountain View Log Cabin - Cozy cabin in the Blue Ridge Mountains- New Property!
10/10 Excellent
"The cabin is a little 2 story place. The inside is rustic looking with very modern appliances. It has everything you need from linens to seasonings to board games, corn hole and movies. We used the propane grill to cook steaks and burgers and to end the nights with s'mores around the fire pit. Ample amount of chopped fire wood. The view was absolutely spectacular. It is such a beautiful and peaceful getaway from the real world. Booking and communication with the host was professional and seamless. I would definitely recommend this place for families or couples. The road up to the cabin can be quite challenging if you are in a car but with an SUV or truck no problem.10/10 overall experience."
"The Red Roof Cabin was a beautiful, quiet retreat for my wife, our small dog, and me. It’s isolated and comfortable, with a great kitchen and stunning views from a massive screened porch. The well water was excellent, the Starlink internet worked flawlessly, and having three coffee makers was great. Best of all, it has a Generac backup generator and a landline—massive safety features since there is no cell service! For 1000 for 3 nights, it felt a little pricey, but the amenities are great. We would stay here again. However, the listing has major accuracy gaps. First, it's listed as a 3-bedroom, but there are actually only 2 bedrooms, and neither has a door. Combined with a bathroom barn door that doesn't close tightly or latch, it offers very little privacy. Second, while the interior was spotless, the exterior had unfinished construction projects, scattered building materials, and a mop left on the picnic table. Most importantly, the final 10–15 minutes is a rough, gravel road with very steep sections. The listing claims 2WD is fine outside of winter, but our Accord would have bottomed out; our Outback was definitely required. Finally, despite promising "no hidden fees," checkout requires hauling your own trash several miles away or leaving a 5 cash tip for housekeepers. Loading garbage into a clean car is highly off-putting. For 5, this should just be included."
Secluded log cabin, fireplace, wi-fi, hot tub on deck!! Secluded on 6 acres
10/10 Excellent
"We had an amazing time. Very secluded which was what I was looking for. Place provided everything we needed including towels and toilet paper. Very clean and beds were so comfy. Definitely going back!!! I would suggest a 4 wheel or AWD vehicle."
"Very nice property and responsive host. Gravel path in neighborhood and driveway can be tricky if you do not have AWD (Honda CRV did fine on rainy days in spring). Access to Shenandoah is 30 minute drive away"
"Stayed here for a girls trip over Memorial day weekend. The cabin was a perfect spot to relax and enjoy the mountains. It is remote, but we loved how secluded it felt with plenty of hiking and vineyards only 30 - 45 minutes away. The property itself makes it feel like camping but with all the amenaties of home. We loved being able to have coffee on the porch each morning and hearing the nearby creek as we were waking up. As well as winding down our day by enjoying wine from local vineyards by the fire pit. Location felt safe and secure. But as a note it is a unpaved drive up the mountain to the property. Recommend having a car that doesn't mind a bit of mud or non-paved surfaces. We did have a dog with us as well. He also loved being able to run around the property, but did not love the steepness of the stairs. He is only 42 lbs so we were able to carry him up and down the stairs, but recommend only brinigng a dog if they are younger, you can carry them or doesn't mind sleeping away from their humans."
"Me and my husband spent 4 days in this house, and we had an amazing time. The place is close to everything, including wineries and Shenandoah National Park. The house is not luxurious, but it has everything you need and is very clean. The patio outside offers an amazing view of the sunset, and the bed was very comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend it to everyone it you are not looking for a fancy luxurious hotel.Thank you!!!
