"The Bestie Riverside Resort is a beautiful, quiet, unique place to stay. Very clean inside and out. The pool was amazing and so was the hot tub. Not for younger kids. "

"This home is very inviting and unique. My husband and I, another couple, and two dogs stayed for our anniversary. It was comfortable and had everything we needed to have a relaxing stay. We would defiantly stay hear again as it is perfectly located not to far from Traverse City, the Sleeping Bear Dunes, and the Leelanau peninsula."

"We really enjoyed Betsie River Cabin, it was everything it advertised and more, we used the canoe and also kayaked the river. It was great to launch from the property! We had great campfires and played ping pong, the hot tub was great after a day on the river. The hosts are very gracious and thought of everything. We will probably return sometime!"

"Easy to find and check in. Had everything we needed to have a cozy Spring weekend. Just the right amount of space. No traffic on the short road and easy access to the river, Hodenpyl Dam, and lots of National Forest trails. Short jump to Mesick for groceries and gas was very convenient. "A few of us friends just needed a couple days to hang out and do some snowboarding at Crystal Mountain, which is right down the road. We have stayed here several times in the past it’s always been clean and quaint. The addition of the hot tubs is a plus and it makes it more luxurious. We will be back!"

"We totally loved the place and will be back. That being said, a few things could be better upkept. The portable a/c in the closet was quite dirty and a bit of a pain to set up. The water is fine for washing and the bathroom but dont plan on drinking it if avoidable. Tall people will find it tricky to navigate in some spots. Main thing to remember is it is a cabin and feels as such. Luxury it is not. We wouldn't have it any other way."

"“The Shed” is a cute little place to get away from the hustle and bustle of the daily grind. The place was so clean and well kept. Kate was so nice and friendly and made the stay feel so comfortable. You can see the care Kate and Ray took to make the shed a perfect getaway! Would definitely recommend this place for someone to visit!"

"This house was perfect for my weekend away with friends and family. The location could not have been better! The house was positioned right on the lake, with a fire pit along the shore. There were more than enough beds to sleep all of us. A couple tweaks could be made to tighten the knobs on some of the doors, but that is simple. Other than that, the property manager was super transparent and even came to the house to tighten one of the door knobs!"

"Found this cabin last minute for memorial weekend and our family decided we had to try it out. This cabin did not disappoint! Every part of the cabin was gorgeous. we were a group of 12, 7 adults 5 kids and had plenty of space. kids loved the basement game room and the loft to play. they loved the creek and found tons of frogs turtles and other wildlife. Adults enjoyed the large porch and Sauna. Cabin had everything we needed and more. Beds were very comfortable even the futon! definitely would...

"We had a great stay. There were 10 of us staying in the house. We were very comfortable, everyone slept well. The kids were a little disappointed that there wasn’t a lighter to get the fireplace going but that didn’t affect our fun, only mentioning that because some people may be very disappointed if that were to happen. We were about a block or so from the restaurants, skiing and store. That was very convenient. The property manager was great to work with and very patient when I wasn’t able...

"We had an amazing time during our stay at Peter's cabin. Cute cabin, on the lake, surrounded by trees. Beautiful scenery, something out of a movie. Perfect location on the lake for our 2-year-old. Private sand area by the dock in front of the cabin. The water is only about 1-2 feet deep until the end of the dock which was perfect for our son to play in. Happy we were on Lower Herring as it was calm enough for us to get in the water every day. Loved access to the private beach at the Watervale...

"The accommodations were nice, place has a beautiful view of the river; only downside is we lost power a number of times. It was only for a few minutes at a time and multiple days, but it was annoying."

"We have 6 couples that have gotten together for 21 years for a golf weekend. We travel all over Northern Michigan and need a VRBO that hs a bedroom for each couple. This home met all of our needs. I think the best part was having two well-stocked kitchens. We also loved its convenience to Crystal Mountain and Arcadia Bluffs."
