"We had a wonderful stay at Scott’s house during the last two weeks of August 2026. We were quite impressed at how clean and well equipped the house was. There were lots of nice touches like a large DVD library and many games for children and adults. We enjoyed using the outdoor fire pit and walking to the nearby sandy beach. We also enjoyed playing card games with friends on the screen porch. The kitchen was well designed and easy to use. The beds were very comfortable. Scott communicated extremely well and provided answers to questions that we didn't know that we even had! In short, we highly recommend Scott’s house by Sebago Lake as a vacation destination for both adults and families. We’d like to come back someday!"

"We rented the one bedroom apartment portion of this new home. It was very clean, quiet, and in a good location on Sebago Lake just south of Naples. The host did an admirable job and was available quickly when needed. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would certainly book this listing again."

"Before I address anything about our weeklong stay, I have to start with the unfortunate fact that we had 3 bat sightings in the house during the week we were there. We made the host aware. In hindsight, I suspect we should have left the house after one was first spotted flying around the hallway, but we didn't see them again until our last night there. I hope that the host has taken the expected measure to assure the house is now sealed up. If you see a bat in the house, you should leave and contact VRBO for advice.Other than that, the house was lovely. It has an old campy vibe with lots of great spaces for people to gather. We did puzzles on the screen porch, played ping pong and darts in the rec room, and spent a lot of time on the huge dock jumping into the lovely clear river. The water temperature was so much warmer than what we expected making it comfortable to swim all day.The kitchen was well stocked. The beds and lines were comfortable enough, but nothing luxurious. Since the house is right before the river lock, boats line up on the river next to the dock while they wait for the bridge and lock to open. There was a line most of the day on the weekend, but the weekdays were quieter. It didn't feel unsafe to swim since the boats were usually stationary while they waited. We really did love our time at the house. I think everyone learned a lot about bat safety from the experience."

"The house was cozy, comfortable and inviting, as well as exceptionally clean...everything we hoped for! The owners have thoughtfully labeled everything so there is no confusion as to what switch to turn on or off, or how all the amenities function. There is a great binder they have compiled that details just about anything you might have a question about! The location is great....close to restaurants, stores and many different activities to enjoy. Our only caveat is that the upstairs bedroom with the twin bed was not ideal for sleeping because of the summer heat! You will love your stay at this rental!!!"

"The house was very nice, clean and fully stocked for a family vacation. However, the listing mentioned that there was a canoe and kayaks, as well as an outdoor theater. There was only 2 inflatable paddle boards and no theater. Also, the access to the lake is only about 4' wide and there is no beach or dock. If you want to put the paddle boards in the water, you have to walk down the street quite a bit further to put them in at a dock. The only way a lake view is possible is if there are no leaves on the trees.Also, do not expect much from the washer and dryer. I only put a couple pair of underwear, some socks, a sweatshirt and 2 t-shirts in to be washed and the washer would not wring out the clothes. So everything had to be wrung out by hand and hung over the railing to be dried. I also did not wear those clothes again because I felt as if they were not really clean since there was still so much water in the clothes.The fire pit was great. The kitchen was great to use for breakfasts and dinner. Beds were ok. The upstairs suite was perfect for us, while the kids all had the downstairs bedrooms and bath.If they would update their listing to remove the items that are not included, make the lake access a little more clear in the listing, and replace the washer and dryer unit, this would be a great place."

"This cabin on Sebago Lake gave us more than we even expected. It was a beautiful place to land as we visited Maine for the first time. The home is clean, cozy, and well-accommodated. I highly recommend it!"

"We just returned from a week stay and there were some pros and cons.Pros:The property management was extremely responsive. Lakefront- beautiful deck, dock and lots of water toys.Dog friendlyBasement was good for the kids- they loved the karaoke machine.Quiet neighborhood, but close to town and about an hour to Portland.Kitchen had everything you need to prep and cook meals.Great fire pitCons:Cobwebs (and spiders) EVERYWHERE. The house could use a good clean inside and out.Windows need replacing- some slam shut.Front (screen) door needs replacing.Sewage smell when on the deck- notified property manager who said they would look into it right away.Basement is not fit to sleep in- my kids wouldn't go near the bed on the floor.Sunroom needed a good clean and replace some of the old furniture.No screen door on the back door. Given there is no central AC, you can't leave the door open to get a cross breeze without letting in a ton of bugs.A lot of trash on the property- could use a good clean up.Expensive for the week, but I guess because it is waterfront."
