"Cozy cabin in the woods, but near the water. Not too far from town, with restaurants and shopping, or even adventure seekers. Boyne Mountain is a must if you're traveling from the south. Can't beat the scenery and aventure! If you're looking for a place to escape the monopoly of life in peace, then this offers you that. A reset, a recharge, no worries. Larissa and Adam have a wonderful home, and definitely have the relaxation you're looking for. And the hottub is a nice touch too "

"Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great time, but some minor inconveniences made it less than perfect. Perfect location for access to Village, BC , Petoskey, etc. Disappointed that condo did not have a lake view. Map was misleading because it wasn't clear there were heavy woods blocking sight line to water. A/C did not cool 2nd floor and wasn't great on 1st Floor. Surprised AC unit was so small. One twice the size would barely be adequate. Condo advertised with boat slip, but it had a tie-up space on the dock. Hard to get into and out of. TV difficult to operate. The basic cable was terrible, but Rocu saved the day. Kitchen equipment barely adequate. Can opener didn't work. Most dishes not microwave safe. Gas grille was out of propane-had to change tanks. Minor inconvenience. Number of bedrooms was great for our large group. Golf greens were in terrible shape. Parking was not convenient, and made check in and check out difficult. In spite of the inconveniences, everyone had a great time. Walloon Lake is the best."
