"We loved this property! After having another property owner from another site refuse to honor the rental (he double-booked), we found this place at the last minute. The owner and his wife were so gracious and welcoming — and able to get the place ready for us in short order. The apartment is very charming and a lot more spacious than it looks online. "We visited in second week of October. Season on island had finished at that stage so other restaurants and bars on island had closed. Hotel bar and restaurant were the only places open. However the food in the hotel was good enough and eating there for a week proved to be fine. Very quiet at that time of year but definitely a sense of getting away from it all."
