"Enjoyed a 2 night stay, although room was a bit snug, it was clean and comfortable and had full length mirror and plenty of plug sockets which is always good. The staff were really friendly and welcoming and we enjoyed a few drinks in the bar. The breakfast was amazing, so much to choose from ... delicious fresh fruit, yoghurts, cereal and cereal bars, every spread you could think of for toast and the cooked breakfast was really tasty, again with lots of choice. We would happily stay again if visiting Amble in the future 😊"

"Very clean and spacious bedrooms however they use an air vacuum toilet system which it was acknowledged to me was useless. I used the pub toilet at times because of continual blockages. That’s dreadful. It is a pub and was very good with pleasant staff. The breakfast was limited to usual hot food, except only fried eggs, limited continental breakfast. We had one evening meal and not brilliant however the fish restaurants in Amble compensate. Parking is good and plentiful on-site. The pub is difficult to find using a car satnav but ok if you use Google. Apparently the pub has been there 3 years and many satnavs don’t recognise the estate it’s on."

"The cottage was lovely and had everything that you needed and more. Very handy for the shops and bus stop. The host was friendly and informative of activities taking place while we there."

"The cottage was beautiful and in a great position for all the amenities. If we go back to Amble we will almost certainly stay with this company. Our recommendations in the town includes; the Sunday market at the Harbour, The Harbour Inn, Lilly's Landing and finally Amble Harbour Amber beer!"

"Fantastic location with a short walk down to the harbour village or Main Street for plenty of food and drink options. Really good sized rooms and great facilities. Perfect for a long weekend away with friends. Enjoyed our stay and would definitely consider staying there again if coming to Amble with family or friends in the future"

"We had a lovely stay overall. The house is in a fantastic location, the décor is beautiful, and the beds were really comfortable. Parking was a little tricky when we first arrived, but once we’d parked, the cone provided to reserve the space outside the property was a great idea. The only reason we marked cleanliness down slightly was because the cleaner didn’t leave until around 10 minutes after the 4pm check-in time, so the floors were still soaking wet when we arrived. There were also a few cobwebs in the bedrooms, and the barbecue was left very dirty with rubbish from previous guests, so we had to clean it ourselves before we could use it. Overall though, we really enjoyed our stay and would happily return."

"Nice house in a great location. Not exactly toddler friendly but would be good for bigger kids. Cleanliness I would say was good at surface level (beds, bathrooms kitchen etc). Wearing white socks or having toddlers playing reveals the floor needs a much more thorough clean. "
