I only gave 4 stars because the air conditioning didn’t really work. The first night, it kept turning off which we figured out thanks to the host, but even after that it still wasn’t enough to keep the house cool since it wasn’t central air."

"Property was exactly as depicted, very clean and quaint. The boys loved having a separate entrance to the basement. Sitting on the deck after a day of hiking and shopping was the perfect end while watching the sun drop. We studied the map with all the previous renters’ notes downstairs ( great recommendations!) overall, would absolutely stay again! Close enough to the Bar Harbor scene with some solitude!"
