"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We love this place and as stated before it is in the need of some TLC. All the beds need replacing, as well as pillow, blankets and bead spreads. We have been coming to this place since 2017 and still has the same shower curtains and bedding. The living room sofa is so dusty its hard to sit without getting congested. The dock is ok, but very shaky. The outside back stair landing is treacherous. Please cover the roots before someone gets seriously injured. This is a great rental and has plenty of room and is very relaxing, just needs some love."

"Beautiful, idyllic spot on Sebago Lake. Great spaces for our group -- room to spread out or hang together. Clean. Well-stocked kitchen. Minor suggestions: better water pressure in the showers, in-tub mat (super slippery!), and handrails down to the lake (uneven stairs were tricky for a couple of our older folks). Otherwise, absolutely perfect!Would love to visit again without a nor'easter so we can take the kayaks out on the lake!"

"This property is amazing! Deep water with beautiful outdoor living space. We celebrated a family birthday and our place was perfect for entertaining visiting family. If you’re looking for a true lake retreat with easy water access for swimming, kayaking or boating this is it. You won’t want to leave!"

Frye Island Paradise - Renovated cabin on Sebago Lake - Just a ferry ride away

"Our group of four adults, two kiddos and a fur baby had a comfortable and memorable stay at this lake house. The lake was crystal clear with a sandy, muck-free sparkling bottom, making it perfect for swimming, floating, and spending hours in the water.The home itself was comfortable, beautifully decorated, and stocked with everything and more that we needed. We had amazing lake views, a large table that made family meals and puzzles easy, a beach area for wading into the water, and a dock with swimming ladder access and room for a boat if we rented one. The children’s play area was a huge hit with the kids- opting to play inside instead of the lake for a few hours! This was the perfect place for our family getaway and birthday celebration. The setting is peaceful, the property and neighbors were very nice, and we loved being able to relax by the water, and enjoy time together without feeling crowded. We left wishing we owned a lake house ourselves! I would recommend some bug spray at dawn/dusk, to avoid the black fly/bugs. We highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing, memorable vacation. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us—we hope to return again someday"
