Outstanding Pet Friendly Family Retreat on Frye Island in Sebago Lake sleeps 7
10/10 Excellent
"A wonderful place of peace, beauty and rest with all we needed. It was perfect for our family with 3 bedrooms and the 2 bathrooms which were a must. Lots of room to get together for dinner or rainy day games with extended family staying in another cabin as well as quiet spaces to enjoy a book. The little ones loved the new swing set and the little lending library box by the driveway. The golf cart made it easy to bring our beach chairs to the beach which was enjoyed each day. We loved it so much we booked a week next year before leaving. Thank you for sharing your cabin with us!"
"Wonderful stay! Roxanne and Kelly are fabulous hosts: great communication and a true desire to may our visit comfortable and fun. They recommended a boat rental place which we took advantage of to get a pontoon boat for a few days. The dock and mooring worked out great for that. And we enjoyed tubing and exploring the lake. The lake views are A. Lake water is super clean and clear. Swimming in front of the cabin was a daily event. The cottage itself is super clean and well maintained. We enjoyed daily down-time for reading and puzzles in the front room with sweeping lake views or down on the lawn in the Adirondack chairs. And of course, morning coffee sitting on the dock enjoying the peaceful lake and sounds of the loon. There are a lot of stairs to get from parking to the cottage, without a railing. No problem for us, but you may want to be aware if you have mobility issues. Location is peaceful, yet close to shopping and dining. The AC units were good on the one hot/humid night during our stay. OH, and the sunsets! Thanks Roxanne and Kelly! "
"Great property, close to local marinas for boating access. More than enough room to host families with a great pool and hot tub. Dina was quick to respond to communications during our stay."
"We could not have asked for a more beautiful setting for our family vacation! The house and the property were amazing and had everything a large family would ever need. We had 15 people, ages 8-80, and everyone had a great time. The loft was perfect for the kids and all of the adults had a room of their own. There was ample room for cooking, dining, watching TV, playing ping-pong or pool, or just napping on the porch. The host was super helpful and responsive and took care of all our needs. The recommendations were well received and we frequented the spots she recommended and found a few of our own.The house and the surrounding area were amazing but the lake was the real star! It was so much fun just hanging out on the deck, jumping in and out of the lake, swimming to the dock and relaxing. So much fun!"
