"Eine kleine aber feine Wohnung mit sehr freundlichen Vermietern! Wir wurden freundlich empfangen und konnten sogar schon um 10:00 Uhr ins Haus, da die Vermieter nicht mehr da waren. Das Haus war dann bereits sauber und wir bekamen alles auf Englisch erklärt, was für uns kein Problem war. Jede Frage die wir gestellt haben wurde dort beantwortet. Bei Problemen waren Vito und Lina direkt zur Stelle. Sogar Hauseigene Feigen gab es zwischendurch zum probieren. Einfach köstlich! Wir waren als Familie (5 Personen) mit einer 4 Jahre alten Tochter da und es sind gut 10 min zu Fuß (auch mit der kleinen) bis zum „Hausstrand“ mit Kies. Wer einen Sandstrand möchte sollte ein Auto haben und ca. 15 min fahren. Traumhafte und nicht überfüllte Strände sind dann erreichbar. Wirklich eine tolle Unterkunft in einer ruhigen Gegend. Ja es gibt dort Tiere die auch hin und wieder mal bellen oder mauzen. Aber bei geschlossenen Fenstern ist das kein Problem für uns gewesen."

"A wonderful one night stay! Right on the ocean, and a lovely little beach. Loved the large and comfortable room, the view from the dining patio, and the strong air conditioning. The sheets and linens were soft and cozy. The staff allowed me to store my bags, offered me ice water, and time to clean up in the ladies room after returning from an excursion and before heading to my next destination. A lovely hotel, and in the heart of it all yet still retains a private vibe."

"We were absolutely elated by this place! Cala Gonone exceeded our expectations in terms of a beautiful coastal area that isn't mobbed like some other portions of Italy. Hotel Miramare is beautiful and right next to the beach. Parking was a little unclear and we got a ticket, so be aware of parking rules and finding a spot. The staff was very friendly and helpful with many suggestions. Our room was fantastic - complete with TWO balconies. The south balcony was a bit warm for our tastes but the east balcony (facing the beach) was shady and comfortable. The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. We asked for extra pillows, which they promptly brought to us. We enjoyed the outdoor grill for dinner one night and really enjoyed the preparations. The breakfast buffet in the morning had all of the fruits, meats, perfectly-prepared eggs and pastries we could hope for, and the staff graciously let us get an early start on breakfast the morning we rented a boat. The atmosphere throughout was light, clean and uplifting, enhanced by the ultra-friendly staff. It's not even a question that we will return here on our next trip to Sardinia."
