A beautiful property not far from the town centre. Free tuk tuk into town daily. Trips were arranged easily for us by the staff. Our tuk tuk driver Sambo was excellent. Food was superb, breakfast was cooked freshly for you and the evening meals were lovely sat by the pool. Cocktails great! Rooms were a good size and comfortable. Highly recommended.

The resort is well landscaped and the pool is always clean. The rooms are very clean and secluded from the other guests. My wife and I always stay at Battambang Resort when we visit Battambang or her home province. The staff is very friendly and helpful. In Cambodia, one can hear the music for religious ceremonies or festivals from the local area, but this is to be expected as the music is approved to play, usually until 10:30PM and it is not always. We find it peaceful.

Short break to relax. Lake view room was a good size with a great terrace for chilling and very comfortable. All staff were friendly and helpful. The gardens are really well cared for with lovely fragrances as you walk through them. Restaurant and bar reasonably priced, food and drinks were all very good.

The grounds are so beautiful. It truly feels like an oasis. The staff and owners are so friendly and helpful and the rooms are just perfectly designed and beautiful. I regret that I didn't have more time to just hang out at the hotel. It was so nice that you didn't want to leave it. Thank you for such a great stay!

Peaceful Getaway to Battambang
Great resort and my second visit here - still did not disappoint! Got a flat tire and the hotel was great at getting a mechanic on site to fix it for us! Would recommend a stay here!

Amazing resort and great hotel staff. Really enjoyed our stay, even though it rained endlessly through the weekend. The owner is really great, and the restaurant food is amazing as well. Definitely recommended!!

This is a great property to stay at if you're after an escape from the rush of Battambang. A few km's out of town, but worth the drive. Managers/ owners are lovely people, as are the staff. Meals, including breakfast are simple but tasty.

A great resort with great food and comforts
The resort is beautiful with lots of natural greenery in the area. The food was really good with a nice breakfast. Nice wine as well :) The pool is beautiful but just hot so it was hard to be refreshed after. The bed was very comfortable and ac and fans worked wonderfully. The area is a little far from town but also is a lovely area and if you have a moto you can be closer to attractions in that area. Highly recommend!

Very happy with our choice
This is a lovely resort, small enough to chat with other guests, but big enough to offer world-class amenities. They know what guests want, and deliver. We stayed for 3 nights, and they were accommodating and flexible with meals, check-out time, and helping us get around the local area.

Absolutely a wonderful side of Cambodia. Relaxing resort, wonderful hospitality, great food. The staff are all very attentive and friendly. The owners make all guests feel so welcomed. There are some great places to visit, and Tuk Tuks are very inexpensive. The hotel arranged for an English speaking tour guide who knows everything in the area. We paid $30.00 for a whole day tour and we visited many places. We have not yet tried the pool, but it is very large and inviting. We booked for 2 nights, stayed for 5, so far. The accommodation is very clean, private, peaceful. The resort is a bit out of the way, but you will be thankful. They picked us up from town, no problem.

Great spot

Wonderful
We really enjoyed our stay at Battambang Resort. The Lake room was very peaceful and relaxing. The grounds make you feel as if you are in a rain forest. The staff is so helpful and attentive to your every need. The morning breakfast is nice by the pool and the meals at the restaurant were delicious. The resort is away from Battambang proper, but the hotel has free rides into town at certain times. They also can arrange tours or a ride into town at your request.

Battambang resort was a beautiful oasis close to the city. The rooms were serene! Staff were warm and friendly and went above and beyond to make sure our stay was good. They organized a great Battambang day tour for our party as well! We were sad to have only had 2 nights here.

Hard to leave!
The pool is very enticing and it’s hard to pull yourself away! But take the time to go into town on the free shuttle service (designated times) or a $3 tuk tuk ride.

This is a very nice quite hotel out of town. Beautiful surroundings and location. Breakfast was good, rooms were good and designed well. Clean. Staff were extra helpful and forthcoming. They have a free shuttle to town and back. You would be very comfortable staying and relaxing here.

Hidden Oasis
We loved our stay at this beautiful, relaxed a and friendly boutique resort. The owners and staff were all lovely. The rooms are spacious and stylish. No TV, which suits me. Better light near the vanity mirror would be my only suggestion. The pool area is clean and surrounded by lush gardens. The restaurant food is great. We loved the freely available bikes for a ride around the local villages. The free transport to and from town is also convenient. We came away very relaxed after three nights at this fantastic resort.

Awesome Pool, Helpful and Kind Staff!
This hotel has an incredible pool and very kind staff. It was a $3 tuk tuk ride to get to town, which isn't much of a downside because it's so interesting to watch the countryside go by. The only problems can come when you have to wait for a tuk tuk to come to the hotel, which can sometimes take 10+ minutes. The food at this hotel is great, and the included breakfast choices are all hearty and delicious. The staff helped us by booking tickets to the circus (a must do!) and a private car to Phnom Penh (only $65 and took us less than 5 hours - HEAVILY recommended). This hotel did not have good wifi in the rooms, and only unsecured wifi in the restaurant area. We stayed in a garden villa, and it was private, with lots of space on a covered porch area with a fan and a light. We loved sitting here and reading, but are glad we brought bug spray. We will definitely stay at this resort again!

Love our stay! Great staff and pool!
We absolutely loved our stay! This quiet gem on the outskirts of Battambang offers a tranquil oasis. The service was stupendous, esp. from the front desk who helped us set up things to do (visit to bat caves and a cooking class) and transportation which we didn't expect but certainly appreciated. We loved the pool and the room setup. The garden and flowers are immaculate. Kudos to the chef because the food was great too, and I appreciated that the hotel didn't charge much higher prices than other places in town (save street food of course). We spent our mornings doing long cycle rides using the bikes from the hotel - one morning on the east side of the river down to Banan temple and then up the west side on R154 with a stop at Cambodia's only winery on the way back (about 45 km total) and the other morning cycled through town up to Ek Phnom temple (about 26 km). My only suggestions for the hotel are to get a couple mountain bikes (e.g. Giants) cause those cruiser bikes are too heavy/rigid for longer distances and to add some hooks to the walls in the bathroom to hand towels. Thanks BR for everything!

Tasteful relaxing haven
Located a short tuktuk ride from town, Battambang resort didn't disappoint: friendly staff, quiet and well appointed rooms, beautiful quiet boutique resort with amazing pool and very good restaurant. Don't think twice and stay here. Just be careful, the edges of the pool are a bit slippery :)

Hotel is abit far from town. There's music from a temple or school at odd hours(think 0500). The grounds are attractive and staff does a nice job. If you need a Tuk Tuk, use "Lucky". He's a fantastic, funny, knowledgeable, safe and entertaining guide and driver.

Great rural location with easy access to town.
We loved the countryside location and being able to walk or cycle (using free bikes) to nearby villages. The free transfer service to town including free pick up from the bus station was well organised. We visited the phare circus as arranged by the hotel an this is to be recommended. The tuk tuk organised by the resort to the bamboo train worked well. The room was great (lake view room) in terms of amenities, space and design. Lovely terrace with hammock. Staff and owners were very helpful and welcoming. The pool and immediate grounds were relaxing. Evening food was well cooked using ingredients from the garden.

Friendly, helpful, and relaxing
This is a great place to relax just a couple of miles outside Battambong town, with a really beautiful lake (do book one of the lakeside rooms to enjoy lovely dawn or dusk views from the room itself or the private patio with hammock), pool, and excellent restaurant. Travel into town is easy via the scheduled shuttle service or by bike, and the owners and staff are hospitable, friendly, and eminently helpful. We'd made a mistake with our next booking which Jan and his wife went out of their way to help us sort out (successfully), and they gave us excellent advice on local tours and activities - for example they recomnended a very diverting half-day bike ride with Butterfly Tours, organised an on-site massage at a moment's notice, and booked us onto a most enjoyable evening at the Phare Ponlue Selpak circus (do this!). They also organised our onward travel - by taxi - to Phnom Penh at a good price - so our whole stay, end to end, was relaxing, fun, and hassle-free.

Though it was only a one night stay, the experienced was pleasant. All equipments in the room function correctly and water and water pressure was great! The staffs were nice and the owner (wife and husband) were a pleasure to speak with.

How Boutique Hotels should be
What an amazing find. Jan & Paris run the most amazing Boutique hotel just outside Battambang with a truly professional and personal service. The staff are all very polite and friendly with Paris meeting with every guest as they dine in the evening. The Lake room we stayed in was perfect and would not want to change a thing. The food is stunning, perfectly cooked and served and always with a warm smile. They really cant do enough for you and make it a point to leave you feel relaxed and well looked after without feeling overwhelmed. Don't look any further if a quiet relaxed out of the city centre hotel is what you prefer.

Small resort away from the town
Resort is run by very friendly and helpful staff. The free bike rental was a great plus and made touring the town and some of the countryside easy. The rooms were nice, but the seals on the sliding doors were old, making mosquito access to the room easier than preferable. The fans and cooling systems worked well though and so we didn't have mosquito trouble while sleeping. The food at the resort is great, though pricy by Cambodian standards. There are no restaurants near the hotel, though they do provide free rides into town at specific times during the evening. The continental breakfast included with the stay is quite limited unless you pay for add ons.
