"We planned a weekend trip to Puerto Galera, leaving Manila on Thursday afternoon and stop in Batangas City. Alpa Hotel offered a good stay before taking the boat the next day morning to Puerto Galera. There is a restaurant, although the food was nothing special. I do recommend to try a Filipino cuisine dish. The hotel provides a shuttle to the pier."

"Pool was almost as advertised just wasn’t as hot as we expected. Basically room temp. Our internet was horrible. Kept kicking us off and couldn’t watch live tv because it would stop a lot. Place was beautiful and the staff was excellent. But for the price I was expecting a bit more of no hassle room issues. They do have free chauffeur service in local area and the staff was super helpful. "

"The hotel room and service were good. Breakfast was good too! The only setback in staying on the ground floor is the noise coming from the hotel neighbor at the back of the property.Their music was too loud at the time of our stay."
