Escape to RiverNook, a peaceful, pet-friendly river retreat just 2 miles from downtown Bastrop. Designed for relaxation, this private tiny home sits on beautiful, shaded riverfront grounds with multiple decks, hammocks, and direct access to the Colorado River.



Enjoy quiet mornings with coffee on the deck, wildlife sightings throughout the day, and star-filled nights in a truly serene setting.

RiverNook is a cozy 400 sq ft garage apartment, perfect for couples or solo travelers seeking a nature-focused getaway.

The Property



The grounds are a highlight of the experience and designed for relaxation and outdoor enjoyment:



River access for swimming, kayaking, tubing, and fishing



Fishing deck



Multiple sitting decks and lounging areas



Hammocks/Chairs throughout the property



Frequent wildlife sightings (deer, birds, and more)



While your unit is private, the outdoor grounds may occasionally be shared with guests from our sister property located on the same grounds. The space is large, with plenty of room for everyone to spread out comfortably.



Pet Friendly: We welcome well-behaved pets so they can enjoy the retreat with you.

Fee: $75 per pet per stay. Booking sites do not collect this fee. You can leave it on the table at check out or we can set up a venmo or in some cases we can bill the card on file.

RiverNook is ideal for guests who appreciate nature and a relaxed, outdoor setting.



This is a nature-rich environment, not a hotel setting



You may see insects, spider webs, or may need to wipe down outdoor furniture.

RiverNook is perfect for a romantic escape, quiet reset, or nature-filled weekend. If you are looking to unplug, slow down, and enjoy the outdoors, this is your place.



Guest access

Guest have access to RiverNook, and the features located on the grounds... river access, hammocks, decks, seating areas and chairs.



Other things to note

The occupancy listed is the max occupancy this property can accommodate. If you intend to host any event, celebration or other function, you will need to disclose this to us in advance and obtain approval, including an agreement to all additional fees and terms.



If you do cancel outside of our policy, we will do our best to rebook the property and will send you any funds we collect to offset your losses less a 20% rebooking fee. These funds may be less than you originally paid.



Your driveway parking is limited to 2 cars parked in front of the garage.



Austin is about a 35-minute drive.
