The room was large and clean. The staff were super helpful and friendly. The breakfast buffet was delicious. The best part, however, was the hotel’s location right across from the train station. We totally enjoyed our stay.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Gaia Hotel. It was just steps away from the train station which made it so easy after a long overnight journey from the US. Our room was ready ahead of time and everyone we met that worked for the hotel was nice and extremely helpful. The breakfast was outstanding and was great even for us as vegans. I’d definitely stay here again

Room was well prepared, staff were excellent, and the breakfast was terrific! Was a little reluctant to stay at a hotel so near to the central station, but it was quiet and very convenient. Will stay here again when my travels take me to Basel.

The location was perfect for logistics of 1 night stay. It’s across the street from the train station and next to a major tram stop. Patrick at the front desk was incredibly helpful in guiding is to several places we needed to go and the included breakfast was delicious. The room was clean and comfortable. The included free transit pass was very helpful.

Pleasant staff, clean room with good facilities including bath robes, slippers, nice shower and bath amenities. Free mini bar was appreciated. Comfortable pillows and bed linen. Great location near the main railway station and tram stop. Lovely breakfast area and selection of food. All in all an excellent stay and would definitely return. And free water and snack on checking out was a nice touch. Free travel card which also could be used on bus to the airport. Fantastic service.

Excellent location near to station, bus stops and well-stocked supermarket. Spotlessly clean.Stylish art deco rooms. Comfortable bed. Breakfast amazing - catering for all dietary requirements (I'm coeliac and the bread rolls were the best I've had!) Staff wonderful...free mini bar and chocolates... Can't find anything to complain about!
