"Perfect accommodation for a few nights stay. Family owned and run. Check in was easy and when we enquired if room had a walk in shower we were changed to a room that did. Very friendly, attentive staff. Clean towels each day. Great bar meals, smaller portions available. Wonderful Guinness😍 highly recommend."

"Really close to bus stops and rail service. Located in the middle of a pedestrian area next to a shopping center and a venue, which means it can get a bit noisy at night (especially weekends). First time staying in a hostel, can't beat the price."

"We booked Carlogie House for 3 nights and had our wedding on the second day in the beautiful garden.The house was perfect for us - great kitchen facilities (plenty storage, tableware, fridges, etc) great accommodation, with all the bedrooms having ensuites and plenty areas for us and our wedding guests (close family and friends) to relax. The games room was a nice touch and much enjoyed by the kids, as was the climbing frame. The hot tubs and barbecue were used plenty too! We had our wedding breakfast in the orangerie, which was beautiful. Also, having a full size bar was perfect!Check-in was simple (after 4pm), and checkout was at 10am. Our host Susan was fantastic and was also able to provide some additional wedding-related extras, like a cake stand/knife, chiavari chairs with sashes, etc. This was provided at an extra cost, but we found it to be very reasonable."
