Very good alternative to expensive hotels

Not the glamour (and associated cost) of a more expensive hotel, but a perfect alternative if you're just looking for a place to lay-over or to start your area exploration from. Everything was clean and worked. Warm water, comfortable, clean beds, working (and new) AC, in room bar fridge, TV, and microwave.

The staff were helpful and excellent. The carpet in the room is worn out. When I first turned on the shower, brown water came out. A piece of molding beside the door and sow bugs were coming and going on the damp area behind the door. The mattress though comfortable was torn as I discovered when checking for bed bugs that I did not find. The room was on the side of the motel away from the major roads and was quiet.

This is our second visit to this hotel. We don't understand the bad reviews. The room was clean. Bathroom spotless. Very comfortable bed. Clean linens. Normal wear and tear you expect from a room but nothing out of the ordinary. Smelled fresh. No smoke smell. It is a busy place but the people are quiet and friendly. Staff are courteous. We plan on coming back in a few months. If you are looking for a clean and reliable comfy sleep then give it a try. It's not meant to be the Hilton and the affordable price reflects that. But even for the price you get a level of comfort that is higher than expected. You can also step right outside your room to smoke which is very hard to find these days. We always strip the beds and take out garbage as a courtesy. Have never been denied our deposit so for those other comments saying they didn't get theirs back they must have left a mess. Another great thing is the location. Two mins from 400. And so close to shopping and downtown area. Give it a try!

Pretty nice place to stay on a budget! Room was very spacious and looked clean enough. Fridge, AC and microwave worked well. Could use some updates and proper repairs, but overall was cool and spacious and very close to downtown.
