15-Year-old property that's never been renovated. DIRTY is the best word to described just about everything, but especially the room. Dirty curtains, carpets, floors, dust everywhere, old damaged furniture, hot water was Luke warm. Should be a regular NH, not "Collection" (that's an insult to the brand!). For NH to brand this as a Collection hotel is pure marketing. GREAT STAFF, super friendly & very attentive. Good breakfast buffet, tiny gym.

La propiedad esta ubicada en un lugar muy conveniente, cerca de muy buenos restaurantes inclusive el del hotel, cerca de excelentes centros comerciales. No hay que utilizar los taxis de la calle por que tiene una flota de autos que te pueden llevar a todos los lugares ( son un poco mas caro que el taxi normal pero vale la pena ) El desayuno es excelente mucha , variedad de frutas, jugos , quesos, fiambres y panes. El servicio de las meseras y cocineras es excelente. Recomiendo este hotel.

Beds are hard, feels like sleeping on the floor. Weird smell on towels. Toilet, shower and sink; clogged. Toilet needs to be flushed multiple times. Only 2 toilet paper, you would have to ask for room service for more or call reception. The pool was dirty. Breakfast buffet, everything is cold; eggs, pancakes, mini meat empanadas and only one toaster available, having to wait along time when large groups; too many inconveniences. Coffee was good. Room was clean. Elevator worked great, need room key to access. The hotel is in a great area, McDonald’s across the street, recommend Henry’s place if you want to a few drinks and good food full menu. A lot of nice restaurants in the area.

This was my favorite hotel during recent travel in Colombia. Accommodations are excellent, the roof terrace is spectacular, and the people friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Compliments to José and Paula in reception, and Loraine in the restaurant for outstanding hospitality and service.

The safe deposit box didn't work but when I asked the FD person to give me another room (I had just checked in), she sent a maintenance person. He connected power to the safety deposit box but didn't ensure that the door was operational. I then had to leave the hotel and risk leaving my valuables in the room. Other than that, the breakfast is great and the mattress was wonderful (on the hard side rather than fluffy).

Shower was dirty , and had no door so if ac is on you will freeze while u shower even using hot water . The bed had hair on it . The sheets looked stained not upkept . The hall way had weird old smell . The staff are very nice . Ordered room service the burger and fries super dry .we even checked out a day before and they didnt ask us how are stay was .

People make the place and the people at NH Barranquilla Collection are the absolute best. From Carol at the front desk to concierges Campo and Orozco, to the restaurant staff and the cleaning folks, the staff at NH are phenomenal. Absolutely phenomenal. The hotel is very nice. Clean. Orderly. Extremely well-run. While there are those who complain about the size of the pool or the gym, both are exactly what the hotel needs. Those wanting to work out can absolutely get it done in the gym while the pool is really there to cool off, relax and enjoy a dip. The main thing, however, is the staff. As a Spanish speaker, I had no problems whatsoever. Those who speak English only should also have no problems as there are more than enough staff who speak English and who can help in communications. Other than at carnaval, no one is ever going to confuse Barranquilla with a tourist hot-spot. The hotel, however, is really an oasis in the urban jungle and is convenient to the places tourists should see, especially the malecon. after getting my belongings stolen and broken at laast hotel and getting ripped off for six nights and never called back by hotels.com while i slept in car all night on business TRIP! This hotel is excellent and I am still standing by for the 6 night credits I was robbed on viea your APP @ hotel NO Air COnditioning Hell called COUNTRY INTERNATIONAL HOTEL barranquilla I was expecting to stay an Intercontinental hotel where I am an ambassador status & respected for being a diamond ambassador 7 years in a ROW... LAST HOTEL WAS HELL... THIS HOTEL IS FINE but i already paid all the nights and still NO SUPERVISOR manager ever called me back in the morning/next day to make it right at +1-832-768-5479
