"The property from the outside isn't as nice as it looks on the photos. The hotel is surrounded by empty buildings, who seem to be "waiting" to be destroyed for a new development. They present the nicer rooms on the pictures, but as we checked in, they tried to send us to a building across the road that looked abandoned. The hotel is clean, organised and provide great amenities. The restaurants are great, the workers are respectful and respectable. They are professional in all their operation. The people provide a blend of international cuisines with locals. Someone is always ready to assist where there is a need. I love the people. While the service is great at Serhs, when I travel the attitude of the people is everything to me. The workers did not disappoint. They gave the best of the Brazilian culture.
