"This is a very unique rental in old town Ettenheim. The town was quiet and beautiful to explore the Prinzengarten, the church on the hill and the other buildings and establishments. The host was very helpful with getting us situated and welcoming us to his Grandmother's house. There is a bathroom on the main floor, dining room kitchen and one bedroom on the next floor. "This is a perfect holiday location....the apartment has everything you need & was spotlessly clean. Gengenbach is probably the prettiest town we saw in the Black Forest & a fantastic base to explore the region. We stayed 11 nights & used the train on the Konus card scheme every day bar 1.....great for taking the stress away & having a German beer or 2! Anja was fantastic in welcoming us & giving lots of tips on where to eat etc....she was always at the end of the phone if we had a question....

"Der Weg zum Haus ist super vom Vermieter beschrieben und sehr abenteuerlich. Das Haus steht in absoluter Alleinlage am Waldrand und direkt vor dem Haus beginnen die Weinfelder. Traumhaft schön. Die kleine Auffahrt direkt zum Haus (ca. 50m) ist sehr steil. Vom Parkplatz vor dem Haus geht es ca. 50 Stufen durch den Garten zum Gebäude. Das Außengelände und der Garten könnten etwas mehr liebe vertragen. Oben gibt es eine wunderschöne überdachte Terrasse mit einem großartigen Blick auf Offenburg....

"The staff were very nice and accommodating! The building and room looked clean and well taken care of. The only negative that I already knew about is that you don't necessarily have easy access to Europa Park and the walk to the Park Entrance is very far since you are unable to use their onsite hotel entrance to access the park. I would absolutely recommend staying here if you are in Rust!"
