Cozy house next to the beach - perfect for a family vacation

The house was very comfortable and cozy, the kitchen had everything for a comfortable stay. Everything was very clean. The property owner was very nice. I can recommend this vacation home.

Glorious

An excellent property in a peaceful neighbourhood. As with many properties the photos dont do it justice. Short walk to the beach as this is just off Barneville Plage. Garden spacious so would be good for people with children. Only suggestion and one I would make to almost every property we have stayed at, please some more hanging space in the bedrooms and a 'shelf' in the shower to put soap, shampoo etc.

Tolle Unterkunft, mit sehr netten Gastgebern, in der es sich auch an einem Regentag sehr gut aushalten lässt. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Zeit verging wie im Flug. Es ist nur ein Katzensprung zum wunderbaren Strand. An verschiedenen Tagen gibt es tolle Märkte mit allem was das Herz begehrt in der Nähe. Wir kommen gerne wieder

Wir, Eltern und zwei Jungs (16 u. 21) haben hier ein super-nettes, gut ausgestattetes Haus für eine knappe Woche gemietet. Man mietet nicht nur die Innenräume, sondern auch einen geräumigen Sitzplatz und eine ansehnliche Rasenfläche rund ums Haus. Bereitgestellt wird auch ein mobiler Holzkohlengrill (bei uns inkl. Kohle) und sauber aufgeschichtetes Holz für den Kamin im Wohnraum, den man auch gerne an warmen Sommerabenden anmacht. Das Haus liegt einige Autominuten entfernt vom Ortskern Barneville sehr nahe am Strand im Urlaubs- bzw. Touristenviertel des Ortes, welches sich dem Strand entlang ausdehnt. Es gibt dort keine Läden, sämtliche Einkäufe muss man im Ortskern machen. Wir hatten Barneville-Carteret als Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge in die Region nach Norden und Süden und fürs Surfen entlang der Cotentin-Küste gewählt. Achtung: wer an der Westküste der Normandie im September (wie wir) surfen und Surf-Kurse buchen bzw. (Wind)Surfbretter mieten will, sollte die einzelnen Surf-Anbieter vorher telefonisch kontaktieren und sicherstellen, dass sie im September ihren Service auch tatsächlich anbieten und nicht - wie wir häufig erfahren haben - mit Ende der Sommerferien in Frankreich die Schotten schon dicht machen bzw. selbst in Urlaub sind.Wir waren an den Stränden nördlich von Barneville-Carteret - traumhaft: weit, breit, sandig und bei entsprechendem Wind super-tolle Wellen. Für die Wanderer gibt es einen Küstenwanderweg bis an die nordwestlichste Spitze der Normandie!

En dix-ans de réservation sur diverses plateformes, ce logement figure incontestablement dans le top 3. Tout y est. Schönes freistehendes Häuschen in Strandnähe

Wie haben im Juni 2024 eine Woche in diesem gemütlichen Haus verbracht. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt, das Haus ist perfekt eingerichtet und sehr sauber. Auch die Kommunikation mit der Vermieterin und ihrem Ehemann verlief super. Da das Wetter gut war, konnten wir nahezu jeden Tag auf der wundervollen Terrasse vorm Haus frühstücken und zu Abend essen. Der Strand sehr nah und in wenigen Minuten zu Fuß zu erreichen. Praktischerweise gibt es einen Bagutte-Automaten in Barneville-Plage, zu dem man mit dem Rad etwa 5 Minuten braucht. Alles in allem in wundervoller Urlaub! Wir werden noch einmal wiederkommen!
