The brick promenade made access to the train and shopping a special walk which we enjoyed immensely. Great place to stay but save the car rental and use the train. "We loved this property. The home is full of antiques but is very comfortable. We did need a car to get to the home. Sylvie recommended the restaurant, Peppen and it was the best place we have eaten in a long time. The owner was gracious and fed us way too much wonderful food. "Having paid for a room with the 3 twin bed option, we had to pay €35 upgrade to get the 3 beds! Then, as we were given our room key cards, they mentioned that they were having some plumbing problems… didn’t specify. I asked if this would be sorted out today… “yes, we expect so”. The next morning, the water was freezing… we had to shower in that! It’s a 4* hotel… surely, there should be some sort of refund? Otherwise, the room was great!"
