"Lovely stay in the medina, very close to the main street where you can take taxi to move around.
Youssef was great host and very helpful.
Thank you, see you next time. "
"It was the worst experience ever had during my stay at this terrible hotel , zero hygiene , smell all around the property, i had to stay at least 20 minutes to be accommodated , sheets , covers were so smelly!! I knew the prices were ok but the property shouldn’t be that dirty and smelly.. the breakfast price was added to the total cost .. but absolutely rubbish as everything was ready made … i would have had a better breakfast elsewhere with that price .. avoid avoid .
"What a gem in the middle of the Medina. The rooftop bar and restaurant are stupendous and the service was super amazing. Moreover, I loved the local design and feel of the hotel "
"The rooms were so beautiful - we stayed in Bibi and it was divine, from the oval white plaster ceiling with Arabic calligraphy, to the en suite bathroom. The breakfast was fantastic with great variety and the staff was really nice. "
"Just like our stay in May earlier this year, our stay in July was also very pleasant. The staff was courteous, the room was well-cleaned, and overall we had a wonderful experience. Additionally, there are restaurants and cafes nearby, making it very convenient."
"I had a great stay here, the owners are very kind people and make you feel at home. I found the room quiet and peaceful and enjoyed the breakfast in the mornings overlooking the garden. Lots of interesting places are walkable from the hotel. Would recommend!"

"Absolutely Amazing Stay at Dar El Jeld Hotel and Spa
Our stay at Dar El Jeld was nothing short of exceptional. The suite was perfect—so beautifully designed and comfortable that we genuinely didn’t want to leave the hotel. Every detail was thoughtfully curated, creating an atmosphere of elegance and tranquility.
The staff were an absolute delight: warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming from start to finish. Their hospitality made our stay even more special.
Dar El Jeld is the ideal place for anyone wanting to experience the heart of Tunis in a stunning and serene setting. We thoroughly enjoyed every moment and will absolutely be recommending it to others. Can’t wait to return!"
"The police were heavy on the streets with machine guns. If you went out after dark to get dinner there were drunk people and people fighting in the streets... men would expose themself and urinate not caring who could see
The hotels facilities were filthy the bed had bed bugs and my husband was all bit up. The breakfast that was supposed to be included never existed. I feel lucky to be alive and out of that place!"
"Royal Victoria is just so beautiful! It is located right at the entrance of a busy market, walking distance to many restaurants and servicves. The staff members are always warm and nice. Their hotel restaurant serves very good food, we ate there every day. I highly recommend the hotel."
