The apartment is located in the city center, in the picturesque district of Sant Antoni market whose centenary will see from the balcony.

The area is excellent for exploring the city. Due to its strategic location, you can go either walking or in the countless transportation (bus, metro, bike, etc) to places, neighborhoods and most emblematic monuments of the city.

In just ten minutes walking, you will be in Las Ramblas, Plaza of Spain, the Passeig de Gracia, Rambla de Catalunya, Montjuic, Plaza Catalunya, the Gothic Quarter, the Raval, the gothic, or Maremagnum, among other examples.

Taking the subway home at 50 meters you will find in just 15 minutes at the feet of the Holy Family.

Definitely the best place to see the city.

This property was in a great area to get around town. Everything you need close by but out of the tourist area. It was clean. Parking was easy. Host was very responsive. It was nice to sit with the balcony doors open

A nice place with everything we needed

This place was great to stay in while my wife and I enjoyed our 10 year wedding anniversary in Barcelona. It was just as described, central and comfortable.

Great accommodation and wonderful host

We really enjoyed our stay at this apartment, it had everything we needed and the big market was right across the street. We only ate breakfast in as there were so many fabulous restaurants to try that were just a walk away. We wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

Barcelona Perfection

This apartment is perfect for exploring the city and it’s located in a wonderful neighborhood! Restaurants and shops right outside your door and an incredible market across the street. The apartment is beautiful and every need has been thought of.

A Barcelona Delight!’

We spent just over a week at the Wood House and enjoyed every minute of our stay. The apartment is well located, clean, functionally equipped, safe and fun. The bed is very comfortable and the balcony was ideal for people watching. The large market with food and clothes was just across the street. Manuel was extremely responsive - a great experience! Get ready for the kitchen and bathroom to bee small - but we adjusted quickly and easily.

Great stay!

We had a fantastic three day trip at Manuel’s place. It was very clean, comfortable, stylish, and in such a great area! The check in process had technical difficulties but Manuel was very responsive and resolved it immediately. The rest of our trip was perfect. Would recommend this place to any travelers.

Location near Metro

If you are interested in traveling by the Metro this is a convenient place. A couple blocks away and you access a great way to get around. Staying at this apartment gives you the feel of a residence in Barcelona. Much more fun than a hotel vacation.

Great location. Perfect neighborhood close to metro. Very clean. The loft is not really usable, perhaps a child or petite person. Easy check in, friendly staff. Perfect for 2 people.

Great Apt

Location was great! We loved the neighborhood. The elevator didn’t go to the 2nd floor and we had to walk up several stairs (normally would have been fine but had to carry a walker up and down). Look forward to visiting BCN again.

Great location!

This is a small apartment in a wonderful neighborhood! If you would like to get away from the tourist areas and enjoy the local culture, this is the place to stay! Manuel, who manages the property, is very responsive. When we couldn't connect to the WIFI upon our arrival, he got back to us within 5 minutes with the new WIFI information. We are very happy with the property and the service we received.

Great spot

We enjoyed our stay, super location, cute, clean apartment. Checking in was hard, complicated, got into building but code to get into the apt didn't work. Called vrbo at 1:30 am to get in and owner did answer and help. Once we were in and settled things were great but it was unnecessarily stress producing for weary travelers. Make sure to get owner phone number ahead of time if you rent this lovely apartment.

VERY MISLEADING DESCRIPTION

We chose this apartment (my adult son and I, an elderly woman) in large part because it was described as having 2 bedrooms. IT DOES NOT HAVE 2 BEDROOMS. There is 1 very small but attractive bedroom (without a window). There is a couch, convertible to a bed, next to the dining table, as shown in the owner's photo. And there is a loft with about 4' headroom reached by a vertical ladder. Worth mentioning also: the 'hot tub' mentioned in the description does not exist. That said, the apartment is otherwise charming and well located.

The Wood House is a great base.

The Wood House is a great base to stay at on a trip to Barcelona. It is a 2nd floor apartment (there is a lift but we never used it) facing one of the entrances to Sant Antoni market. The photos are accurate. Noise was not an issue, although as I am a very light sleeper I always use ear plugs to sleep. There is air con so we were able to keep temperature comfortable for us. The WiFi was reliable, the bed was very comfortable and the bathroom although small is functional, the shower has both hand held and rainfall attachment. We only used the kitchen for coffee and toast 😊 as we were out all day everyday. The apartment has a smart lock which means you need to have access to mobile data on your first visit. My mobile would not work in Spain 🙄 but luckily my son's did so this was not an issue for us but could be for less technical people (once in the apartment a physical key is available).

Great location in a peaceful neighborhood

Our stay at the Wood House was fantastic The central location was great, within walking distance to most of the place we wanted to visit. Also very convenient to public transportation. The apartment is very comfortable while being on the small size. There is a beautiful view off the tree covered balcony toward the San Antoni Market. Manuel is a great host. He responded quickly to any of our questions. We would be happy to stay here on our next visit to Barcelona Be aware that the code for the apartment is operated by an app that you’ll need to download before your arrival

Great spot in a beautiful neighborhood

This apartment could not have been better. The neighborhood was really nice--close to restaurants, markets, anything you could need. And while it is not large, it is clear that a lot of thought was put into the set up and design of the apartment. Wifi worked great. Aircon worked great.
