Quaint and beautiful apartment!
We were a group of 4 women enjoying a "girls trip" and this apartment worked perfectly. A five-minute walk to the Metro and a train pass took us anywhere we wanted to go. One minor issue and the owner had it fixed while we were out. Marta was very responsive and helpful. Highly recommend! Thank you!!!!

From the very beginning, Marta was extremely responsive in answering my questions and provided detailed information for our check-in. During our stay, she continued to make sure that we had everything we needed. Overall, our stay was great! The entire apartment is clean and comfortable. It is close to grocery stores, bakeries, restaurants, and transportation. The only down side is the primary bedroom faces the street which can get noisy in the morning with traffic. But there are two other bedrooms in the back which can be used if noise is an issue with you. One other thing, there is no elevator in the building and the apartment is on the 2nd floor with a somewhat narrow staircase. So do take that into consideration if you're traveling with a big suitcase.

Vallcarca metro stop
Marta’s place was exactly as described! The location was a few mins walk to the Vallcarca metro station. Quiet and safe neighborhood. Marta greeted us and let us use her indoor garage space, which was Amazing as parking on the street isn’t obvious to find.

What a great experience!
Marta was the perfect host! Great communication, friendly and just a lovely person. The place was super clean and comfortable and the location while being away from the main area was still an easy metro ride away and quiet which is exactly what we needed. Cute, comfortable and modern apartment
Our host, Marta, is very nice! She was able to give us guidance on how to get around the neighborhood to the stores and the park as well as give suggestions on using the Metro and getting to the airport. The neighborhood seemed safe and attractive. The apartment felt secure and worked well for our family of four with comfortable beds and 3 bedrooms, each with their own AC unit. We used the clothes washer and hung our clothes to dry. The kitchen and dishwasher met our needs for making breakfast and having snacks when we were not out exploring. The apartment is located within walking distance of the Metro and Park Guell so we did not require a car in order to enjoy the things we came to see. It was easy to take the Metro train to the downtown historic core of Barcelona. We thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful city of Barcelona and its friendly happy citizens!

Cozy, quiet apartment perfect for a family!
This apartment was perfect for our three night stay in Barcelona. It was very clean and beautifully decorated. It had plenty of space for my family of 5 (including two teens and a tween). The location was great as well. It was nice to come back to a quiet neighborhood after a day in the busy city center. We also really enjoyed the back patio/porch. It was perfect for morning tea and coffee or an evening cocktail.

Marta is great!
This was the first time an owner checked us in as opposed to just entering a code. I now know why! Marta wants to check in and help in any way possible. She is very kind. Place is spacious and clean. Appreciated the multiple AC units and the Nespresso machine. I wish I had used it more than just the one time! Also there was a bottle of water in the fridge and that was lovely to have upon check-in. Only item to note is that I was excited to have a washer in the unit however there is no dryer. I still washed a small load but it didn’t completely dry. So plan ahead and give yourself extra drying time.

Loved the location
Marta was very helpful and quick to respond with all communications. The property is located in a quiet neighborhood with a grocery stores, restaurants and bars within walking distance. Vert easy to go to the .attractions of Barcelona via taxi, bus or driving. I will be coming back to Barcelona and will definitely stay here again!

Beautiful place away from the crowds
This place was as just as the photos indicated. Beautiful and clean. We liked being away from all the crowds at night as we had my 78 year old mother with us. Marta was wonderful, meeting us at the apartment and helping us learn our way around. I would definitely return.

Wonderful Apartment
We loved our stay at Marta’s place! Just as pictured and a short walk to the Metro. Marta is quick to communicate as well. A grocery store is just down the street and restaurants close by. We had a blast meeting locals at nearby bar. We love Barcelona! The Spagrada Familia is a must! And Park Guell too. Though Marta’s written directions got us lost. We took the bus which was a better option. The hop on hop off bus was a great day too. However on the orange line, I would suggest getting off once back in town from the hillside views as the last 5-6 stops were very uninteresting to us.

Great apartment and lovely host
Marta made us so welcome, lots of useful information and very friendly - even booked us a nice restaurant for my wife’s birthday the day we arrived (L’arroseria Xativa Gracias). The apartment was awesome, beautifully decorated and furnished, big enough for our family of five, clean and well equipped and great for park guell and getting onto the L3 metro from where we could explore Barcelona. Will be back one day.

Our family loves staying in this beautifully kept apartment. The cleanliness was impeccable and it was a very modern, stylish apartment. It felt like staying in a hotel with the towels laid nice and clean on the beds and tons of information about buses, attractions and directions in where to go.

A Wonderful Stay!
We so enjoyed our stay in Barcelona at El Coll! It was a bit out of the way for a lot of the places we toured, but we learned how to get around the city pretty quickly. It was a lovely apartment, clean, and well appointed. It was in a quiet neighborhood and we were very comfortable there. If we were to come back to Barcelona, we would enjoy staying there again.

The apartment description is accurate and my family and I enjoyed our stay in this flat. Located about 7 minutes from the nearest Metro stop (Vallcarca on the L3 line), the apartment is situated in a quiet hillside neighborhood. The nearest shop is great for essentials and larger markets and restaurants are just a short walk away. Marta is a gracious and charming hostess and the apartment includes all of the essentials needed for a low-stress visit. A very positive experience; warmly recommended.

Wonderful apartment in a quiet neighborhood
We stayed in this apartment in June, and we loved it! We are a family of 5, and everyone had their own (very comfortable) bed. The apartment is very nicely decorated and is well maintained; it has a well-stocked kitchen, washing machine, air conditioning, and wi-fi for the kids. You can catch a bus in the corner, and the metro is around 6 minutes away. About the same distance to the metro, there is a grocery store in the corner, bakeries and a supermarket on the main street. Marta was wonderful - she provided directions on how to use the buses and metro, and provided us with a map with possible places to visit. Prior to the visit, she provided us with recommendations on places to visit - heed her warnings to get the tickets in advance! :-) This was our last apartment in our trip to Europe - and it was by far the best one. We will keep this apartment in our short list when we return. Thank you Marta!

Excellent apartment and hostess!
The property was exactly as described in the listing, and we couldn't have been happier with our stay. The newly renovated apartment was nicely furnished, cozy, and conveniently-located. It is in a quiet residential area that was only a 7 minute walk to the metro. We wanted to live like locals and soak in the culture and history of Barcelona. This apartment was really perfect for our family of three. We enjoyed having our breakfasts on the patio's cheerful yellow bistro table. A quaint little grocery store was maybe 20 yards away from the apartment. Our son loved the fast wifi and smart TV, so he could stream his favorite cartoons. Marta is an exceptional hostess! She went out of her way to greet us upon arrival, in the middle of the night (late flight). She provided helpful tips, directions, and assistance throughout our trip. Our one week stay was not sufficient to experience everything in Barcelona. We would love to stay here again. Thank you, Marta!

We were very pleased with this VRBO. The only negative would be it isn't in the city. It is very close to Park Guell which was fantastic. Marta was very accommodating especially with early arrival & then a late checkout. It is close to a metro so traveling into heart of city isn't a problem...

Lovely Apartment in a Quiet Neighborhood
We had such a wonderful stay at Marta's apartment in Barcelona. The apartment was well represented in both the pictures and description on line. It was cozy but still very roomy for our family of five. We loved the location, a little off the beaten path. We felt that we were experiencing the Barcelona where locals live and not just the spots tourists visit. Also the apartment was a quick walk to a Metro stop that was easy to use and took you to all the popular attractions. Marta, the landlady, went above and beyond to help us. Before we arrived she sent me information about attractions we should see when we arrived, and wisely advised us to buy advance tickets. She even provided me the links to the website to buy tickets! She met us at the apartment and provided us with great information about the city. And as it turned out we ended up having an extra night in Barcelona and because this apartment was booked she let us stay in another apartment in the building so we didn't have to move to a hotel. Overall we had a wonderful experience and I would recommend this apartment to a friend.

Great location!
We had a great time in Barcelona with our family and the apartment was very nice and comfortable for us. The apartment was near by the Parc Guell. Marta was very friendly and helped us with all questions we had. We were be fans of the district Gracia, this was like "small Barcelona" with a lot of bars, restaurants, shops and nice stores and very friendly local people. The connection to the attraction of Barcelona (Rambles, Sagrada Familia, Barri Gotic, Barceloneta ) was very easy to reach with bus or metro . If we will stay again in Barcelona we will come back to this very nice apartment! Thanks for all, Marta!

Mucho más que recomendable.
Muy bien ubicado. Lejos del barullo del centro, pero muy cerca con el metro que esta a dos cuadras como decimos los argentinos, (5 minutos caminando). Tres dormitorios muy acogedores y con detalles de un departamento donde en realidad, no parece de alquiler, sino digno de ser vivido. El living y la cocina cuenta con todo lo necesario para una estadía perfecta. Marta, su propietaria muy agradable y dispuesta a resolver cualquier inconveniente. Un grand merci à Marta de nous avoir permis de passer quelques jours à Barcelone en toute sérénité ! Très accueillante et de très bons conseils, Marta a le sourire comme les Espagnols de Barcelone. Très chaleureuse, prête à rendre service, elle loge dans l'appartement du haut et se tient toujours à la dispo de ses clients. Super pour le garage accessible depuis la rue Sant Eudalt directement pour el coche ! L'appart correspond exactement au descriptif des photos, il y a une toute petite épicerie en bas de l'appart pour dépanner qui ferme tard le soir. L'appart est à deux pas du métro et le park Guell est accessible à pied également (faisable avec des enfants par l'entrée avec l'escalier mécanique, suivre les instructions de Marta). Un petit nid douillet dans lequel nous reviendrons !!

Un séjour au top à Barcelone !
Nous garderons un excellent souvenir de notre séjour à Barcelone grâce à la qualité de l'accueil de Marta, sa gentillesse et l'excellent état de l'appartement que nous avons loué. Le logement est très spacieux pour un couple avec 2 enfants, très propre et décoré avec beaucoup de goût. Nous avons apprécié sa localisation qui nous a permis de nous imprégner de l'ambiance typique du quartier de Gracia à deux pas du parc Guell. Nous recommandons la location de cet appartement.

Appartement agréable,pratiqe,calme et bien situé.
L'appartement composé de trois chambres, une salle de bains avec douche et toilettes non séparées, un salon, une cuisine équipée et un balcon.Les photos représentent bien l'espace fourni. La déco moderne séduit dès l'entrée dans cet espace avec salon-salle à manger,un couloir qui mène aux chambres et à la salle de bains.A droite, donnant dur le salon, la cuisine dans laquelle on ne peut pas manger, mais qui est une vraie cuisine, avec de nombreux équipements. En traversant la cuisine,on accède au balcon qui donne sur un petit jardin,mais qui est très calme. La location, au 2ème étage est pratique - nous étions 5 personnes - et bien située pour visiter Barcelone - à côté du parc Guell - dans un quartier calme. Marta,la propriétaire est très réactive, prête à rendre service et distille des informations utiles, pratiques, quelque soit le sujet. Avons de ce fait visité Barcelone de façon sereine et agréable. un endroit idéal...
Nous avons beaucoup apprécié l'appartement de Marta et son accueil chaleureux. La situation géographique(quartier tranquille près du parc Guell), le garage, la qualité des équipements, le petit balcon nous ont permis de passer 4 jours délicieux à Barcelone. Je recommande vivement cet appartement et c'est très agréable d'être bien conseillé par Marta.

Very nice stay in Barcelona
So we stayed at Marta's place 4 days with our 3 kids. Marta's flat is a very nice place to stay and a very good starting point to go and visit Barcelona. Everything is clean and very nicely decorated. Some key points: -Air conditionning is available and appreciated after long days of walk. -Parking is available and once the car was in we did not used it for the whole stay. Big cars can get in. We had our Renault Granc Scenic with a topbox in there. -A small supermarket is 8-10' away from the flat including bakery. -Park Guell is ~10-15' away by foot. -Metro L2 is close (~5-10' depending on the way) away from the flat. Marta is also a very kind person that gave us a lot attention at the beginning including practical explanation on the places to see and how to get there the easiest way. This helped us a lot. For the rest of the stay she was very discrete too. For all this we can only higly recommend this renting.

Nous nous sommes sentis très bien dans l'appartement de Marta, propre, spacieux, clair. L'appartement est dans une rue calme et le point plus pour nous, c'est que Marta nous met à disposition au bas de l'immeuble une place de parking. Le métro n'est pas loin et c'est direct jusqu'au centre ville. Marta a répondu très vite à notre demande par mail et sur place nous a donné des conseils. C'est une excellente location et nous la recommandons vivement.
