Disliked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication, listing accuracy
The listing description for the property wasn't entirely clear. The listing posted on Expedía showed one name, but the person who messaged me had a different name, and the person who handed me the keys had yet another name. There were extra charges, such as tourist taxes, that could easily have been noted or charged at the time of booking.
The bathrooms weren’t completely clean. The rooms had two fans, but the description mentioned air conditioning, and there was only one portable unit that, in the end, didn’t work very well.It mentioned two bedrooms, but the place only had one bed and a very uncomfortable sofa bed.
Apparently, the previous guests had cooked fish, and the house stank.
The door lock sometimes malfunctioned when we tried to open it.
It’s worth noting that the kitchen was well-equipped with modern appliances, there were two bathrooms and toilets—which was perfect—and the apartment’s location was very convenient, with plenty of restaurant options and train stations nearby.
My experience wasn’t bad, but I think it could have been better.
