The first room had an incredible view of the Duomo, a lovely deck, and an en-suite bathroom. "All the staff we encountered were excellent, being most helpful on arrival as we were a little before check in and the housekeeper, Anna did everything she could to help with luggage and car arrangements as there is No parking on-site. Parking is 30 euro per day. Carolina was fabulous with her recommendations for restaurants and letting us know that the streets were closed on our departure day and helping us coordinate a plan with luggage loading with the garage. "Really excellent location in an old building. Close to lots of sights. There's 1 window on the bedroom which is large but high up so you can only see the street if you stand on the ledge to see out. Air conditioning is only allowed from June to September but due to hot weather we requested to use it in may which was allowed by the owner. I wasn't aware of this law and I didn't see it on the listing. Maybe missed it but I tried hard to find it afterwards so if it is there it's not obvious."
