"What a beautiful hotel nestled in the hills of Blarney! From the moment you walk in the gorgeous lobby and there is fruit infused water, to the excellent service, room, and incredible breakfast...I have all praise. The area is bustling with tourists visiting Blarney Castle & grounds, but somehow this hotel is peaceful inside. The room was comfortable and I loved that it had a window seat, coffee/tea, and a bathtub. The breakfast is amazing!! Beautiful bar of delights and hot breakfast menu items to choose from. Highly recommend this hotel, which gives time to walk to/around and explore the Blarney castle grounds and have a place to refresh."

"When we entered our assigned room, it smelled off. We opened the bathroom door and the entire ceiling and some of the wall was covered in clearly visible black mold. We returned to the front desk to ask for another room. They were very helpful. The manager showed us to a new room which was much better, but how do you allow a room to look like that and then try to rent it out? Even though they were accommodating, that put a bad taste in our mouths for the rest of our stay."

"On arrival the guy at the desk was pleasant but that's where this stops.. Stairs up to the room are narrow making it difficult carrying bags etc up. Flooring in hallways, laminate all disconnected, in the room, Velux window didn't seal correctly so huge amounts of cold and wind noise coming in. Room smelt weird and then I found a mouldy ham packet on top of the wardrobe along with discarded spirits bottles. Unable to turn heating on as thermostat broken- heating did come on around 11pm but couldn't then regulate. probably one of the worst nights sleeps I've had in a long time and would NOT recommend this to anyone!"

"We had a wonderful stay at the cottage. It was immaculate and Mariza was a perfect host, even providing milk and freshly baked bread, butter and jam, home baked cakes and biscuits, totally above and beyond. There were lots of recommendations from our host on where to go and what to see and where to eat out which was extremely helpful.We were able to do our laundry during the stay."

"The hotel staff were very pleasant and helpful, from check in, to breakfast serving, to check out. Each person was happy and smiling during my stay. Room was clean and tidy, with all the usuals you would expect (ironing facilities, hairdryer, toiletries etc). Will stay there again if in the area."

"This was a wonderful property. One of the best we can recall particularly for the price. Usually the photos are misleading in the case it was the opposite. It’s a wonderful open property with horses and sheep and rabbit on a beautiful tree lined driveway entrance.Martha was very gracious and were very grateful we had the opportunity to stay there."

"We had a little trouble finding the cottage using Apple Maps but once we got here it was great!! The cottage is adorable, has lots of space and easily fit our family of 5. It’s a bit of a hike to get to the surrounding towns but we were totally immersed in the real life of Castleisland. Highly recommend!"
