Better than the pictures even. We saw lots of deer. Master was great with amazing views in the morning. Huge back deck was safe for our 2 year old grandson. Our 9 and 10 year old grandkids loved the massive TV in the living room and all the toys and craft supplies.
3 of the bedrooms had bathrooms. Fourth had to use the one on the main floor. Nicely equipped kitchen.
It was great for our family

Beautiful home with a beautiful view
We loved this home. It was probably one of our favorite places we have stayed at during our yearly trip to Beech Mountain. When we arrived there was a beautiful Christmas tree set up in the living area which made it really feel like the holidays. The kitchen is big and beautiful and we enjoyed cooking every meal together there. While eating dinner the large windows allowed us an amazing view of the beautiful mountains. The game room has a pool table and many games which allowed us a lot of entertainment and time to unplug. It rained one day and we filled the day with playing pool and card games, we had a great time. We also watched movies while enjoying the large comfy sofa and wood burning fire place (remember to bring your own fire wood). The bedrooms are great and were perfect for us and our adult children. If you have little ones there are plenty of areas for them to sleep as well. There is a short drive to the ski resort, we were able to drop our kids off in the morning and they could call us and do one last run to give us time to drive and pick them up.
The house is located down a long private drive and provides a lot of privacy and quiet for you to enjoy. We loved everything about this home, the only thing I would change is for them to allow a pet (which I understand why they don't). We usually bring our pups during our family vacation and we were not able to this year. This house is amazing and we loved our trip this year to Beech Mountain even on the day it rained.
This was a wonderful place to stay in the mountains. The home was beautiful, cozy, and had everything our family needed. The views were incredible and we felt right at home. Highly recommend!

Dec 26-29, 2025Family ski weekendThe house itself was very nice and the main level floorplan was great for our large group. A little odd that of the 4 bedrooms/3baths upstairs that the tiniest bedroom had a full bath and the 2 queens bedroom didn't - but thats ok.My gripes are w/ management. If you use this house that accomodates 13, be sure to bring your own spray cleaner to wipe kitchen counters and your own oven mits (zero provided). Also, bring extra kitchen towels - the single kitchen towel provided had to double as an oven mit and the single paper towel roll in the "VACASA starter kit" does not go far in a big group. I learned the "Starter kits" only provide one roll of paper towels, 2 packs of dishwasher powder, a mini bottle of dish detergent and a sponge. After that its on you. The oven had old charred cheese hanging from the grate and the stuff that was on the floor of the oven smoked so badly we had to open windows and doors to clear the air - in December, Brrr! I did clean it myself to prevent the same for our next meal. Some bigger skillets and pots would be nice so we didnt have to cook in batches. Also there was no plastic wrap, aluminum foil, etc No soap, just hotel size shampooBack deck firepit had no propane tank hooked up and the deck was full of old leaves, branches, twigs and even old paper towels plasterd to deck boards.Spiral staircase from master to kitchen was FULL of cobwebs/dust. Hadnt been cleaned in 10 yrs I bet.

Stay away from this house.
We were very impressed. The house wasn’t cleaned. There were holes in the ceilings and drywall lying on the floor, that seemed to have repaired the water and not finished, the water was dripping on the pool table. In the kitchen and the bathrooms, we had to put all the drawers in place. But the surprise was waiting for us when we went to bed, the bedsheets were not only not changed but not washed at all after previous guests, we had to wash everything in the middle of the night. The hostess asked what could be done for this inconvenience, and when we asked for a late check out they refused and asked to pay the entire amount. Too bad I can’t put up pictures.

Love this house!
We loved this house! It was perfect for our group, and the teens in the group loved the pool table. We saw deer every day, and we were close to skiing. We highly recommend it!
The house was gorgeous, and the views are incredible. Our family enjoyed the space along with the games on a couple rainy days. If it were for the views, we would give this place 5 stars. The place did have two issues... 1. cleanliness 2. completely empty on essentials. On the cleanliness front, all of the dishes in the cabinets were disgusting with either a film or old food. The floors throughout the home were also very dirty. As far as the essentials, the closest store is ~ 20 min drive from the home. When we arrived, we had 1/2 roll of paper towels, 1 roll of TP, 2 trash bags, no basic cooking items (Pam, Seasonings); so all of this had to be purchased. I've stayed in many rental homes over the years and we always had enough of the basics to get through a day. This home was not the case.
Overall, the home is fantastic, but the owners should look at a new management/cleaning company.

Hidden Mountain Jewel!!!
I found this place to be very clean, comfortable, and perfectly sized for our party of 6. Furthermore, the view was excellent overlooking Beech Mountain.
I am looking forward to staying here again in the future!
The house is perfection! Tucked away at the end of the block lends privacy. Before sunset, (in Fall), we walked to nearby driving range to view dozens of deer (50 does, and one skunk. Incredible!) We were greeted one morning with two by the driveway, and saw wild turkeys cross the road. Coffee pot is tiny, but there's a Keurig. (If you like a lot of coffee in the a.m., consider bringing your own maker.) Ask about wood for the fireplace and/or wood burning stove. (We didn't ask, so we bought our own.) I didn't see any cards or games, besides the pool table, so if you're coming for an extended stay and need to entertain a family, pack a few of your own. We had comfortable beds, extra blankets, nice showers with plenty of hot water, and a kitchen with all the basics. I highly recommend this property, and commend the owners on a gorgeous renovation, tasteful decor, and a beautiful view!

Beautiful home with amenities and views that are absolutely second to none!
Many times in the NC mountains you'll encounter homes that require front or all wheel drive to get up the driveway. Not this one!
Once inside, the open floor plan allows for families to enjoy their time together, whether it's around the island in the kitchen, or over a game of billiards. Or, quiet time on the deck, while huddled around the fire table.
Looking forward to coming back!
