Charming Mountain Home with a View
Welcome to Oates Point of View, a charming cabin nestled in the heart of Seven Devils! Ideally located, it's just two miles from Hawks Nest Snow Tubing and Zip Lines Resort and a short half-mile walk to Otter Falls Trail and Black Bear Family Park. The park features a playground, tennis courts, picnic areas, and more. You can also explore nearby attractions like Grandfather Mountain, Grandfather Mountain Winery, Sugar Mountain Ski Resort, Wilderness Run Alpine Coaster, Boone, Tweetsie Railroad, Blowing Rock, and Banner Elk.
Oates Point of View is an upscale mountain cabin that perfectly balances tasteful decor with inviting comfort. The main level features a spacious great room that seamlessly combines the kitchen, dining, and living areas. Surrounded by windows, this open layout showcases stunning mountain views. The living room is furnished with leather furniture arranged around a large flat-screen TV and a stacked-stone wood-burning fireplace, all set atop beautiful wood floors. Step out onto the deck to unwind with outdoor seating and a gas grill, perfect for enjoying the fresh mountain air.
The main-level master bedroom features a king bed, a private ensuite bathroom, and a TV for your convenience. The second main-level bedroom also offers a king bed, a TV, deck access, and a private ensuite bathroom. On the lower level, you'll find two additional king bedrooms along with a spacious family room complete with a shuffleboard table, TV, and a comfortable lounging area. A cozy alcove in the family room includes a custom twin-over-twin bunk bed, creating a perfect retreat for kids. For added flexibility, the main-level office includes a twin pull-out sofa, providing an extra sleeping option.
Additional amenities include Wi-Fi, Smart TVs with paid programming, central heating and air conditioning, and a convenient washer and dryer. The paved, level driveway provides ample parking for multiple vehicles and leads to the front entrance, which requires just one step onto the covered porch. Located in the scenic town of Seven Devils, the cabin enjoys a perfect elevation for breathtaking mountain views and refreshing cool air. During the winter months (October to March), we strongly recommend using a four-wheel-drive or all-wheel-drive vehicle. Chains may also be necessary in snow or icy conditions.
This home is pet-friendly; two dogs are welcome with your reservation, and additional pet fees will apply.
Whether you're seeking adventure or a peaceful mountain retreat, Oates Point of View is the perfect destination for your getaway. With its ideal location, luxurious amenities, and breathtaking surroundings, this cabin promises a memorable stay for every guest. We can't wait to host you and help create lasting memories in the heart of the Blue Ridge Mountains.

Beautiful house, very clean and great for kids. We experienced some winter weather, so bring your 4x4 or snow chains in the winter...and an extra shovel/spade is a good idea! Obviously not the fault of the homeowner, but a forewarning.
