A perfect getaway from the touristy areas, feels like the real Bali. The hotel is family run, and the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. You can walk to the small local village, and to a couple of beautiful waterfalls. The hotel is very peaceful and tranquil and with only 4 rooms it’s very peaceful, so a great place to go after busy Ubud. The rooms and bathrooms are spacious and clean, the pool is lovely and excellent food! Would stay here again for sure.

I am so sorry to write such a negative review but, as we arrived in Asli Bali Villa, we talked to the staff and wanted to know where the kitchen is. As we have had chosen this accommodation also because of the shared kitchen, which was published in the description from the booking platform. The only two reasons to use the kitchen was, to prepare our shakes (I am an international triathlete and currently in Training) and to use the gas stove for our coffee Mokka pot. At the reception we were informed that this description was a mistake and nobody neither the owner of the hotel was willing to find a solution for us, we spent more than one hour with phone calls to the owner. The next negative item was, that we booked a two room suite (this was described and also supported with pictures) and we were told that this second living room (with the couch and desk) is only for a family - we are only a couple.. Nothing like this was described before. The situation went into an absolutely negative direction and nobody was willing to help. A cancellation wasn’t possible, because we have payed already. After two hours of discussion time the reservation was a bit more willing to compromise. One lady of the Staff wasn’t friendly at all and at the end we got a blender on the hand to prepare shakes, but everything arround like Glases, etc. we had to fight for. But we still didn’t got access to the kitchen as well. Not a nice start. I definitely would suggest to send a message to the hotel.

Dear guest, Thank you for your review. You do not need to be sorry to leave a negative review as we have been expecting it from such an unusual guest like you. Firstly we would like to confirm that our booking page in Expedia never states that there is a shared kitchen for guests to use, so there was no mistake from us in Expedia. If you saw a different information on a different booking platform, then perhaps the smartest thing to do would have been to clarify with us first if such facility is available, before making the reservation? We are baffled that you are saying no one was willing to find a solution. You asked to use our kitchen only to make simple drinks such as shakes and coffee - simple drinks that any one of us can make - so we immediately offered to make them for you which would have solved the problem, yet you still declined it even though you have no basis to demand to use our kitchen as it was never listed in Expedia. And we are not sure what you had to "fight" for to get drinking amenities from us. We are a small establishment of 4 rooms and we are always attentive to our guests requests. But again, it is no surprise to see such exaggeration from such a bizarre guest like you. We do agree with your suggestion to send a message to us first especially if there is anything that you need to clarify further - and perhaps yourself should have done it as well. ヴィラ4室のこぢんまりしたホテルで、そのうちの一室のみ部屋付きのテラス(外のテーブル椅子)がありません。 共用のテラスは広くて気持ちいいです。
