Horrible check in.
The check-in was awful, we arrived at 3 o’clock. Our rooms were not ready till 6 o’clock. The Manager at the Desk said he was upgrading our rooms but did not do that. In fact, he misled us into thinking that he had and then try to lie about it.

I saw a big mouse outside the hotel which was quite frightening. I stayed in this hotel like 10 years ago and this time, it was as comfortable as before. However, my daughter got bug bites in the room.

Wonderful stay
We love the swimming pool which has shelter, no worries even if it rains. We didn't realise that there was a huge construction ongoing in the mall next to hotel. The BTS station was linked to hotel via the mall. On last 2 days of stay, we have to walk via car park area to go in/ out. Thanks to wonderful staff at the lobby for helping us with luggage and walked through the mall with us to the bridge linking to BTS station on the last day for us to catch the train to airport.

Very convenient around shopping area and close to BTS. Found the lighting in the hotel not bright enough although it feel warm with the dim lighting. Overall cleanliness, dining, staff service in the hotel was very good.

Was disappointed with the service while in the lounge compared to the previous team of staffs. Staffs not being attentive and not so responsive which this is supposed to be the basic service that the guest should have experienced it.

Great hotel with central location. Food was good, very friendly service. BUT...I was locked in the elevator for 90 minutes. For the first 45 minutes the voice on the intercom assured me that the crew was working to get me out but my colleague went from the floors I was trapped between and the main lobby and did not see anyone responding, they did not even have an employee standing at the elevator to advise the mtn crew when they finally arrived. The maintenance team finally starting working after 45 minutes, it was getting hotter and hotter every minute. At the 60 minute mark they got the door open enough to pass me a bottle of water. At the 70 minute mark they started moving the elevator up and down, inches and feet at a time, at 80 minute mark they were able to open the door a few inches. Following 10 more minutes of banging and prying the door they opened it just enough for me to squeeze out and jump down to the landing, only a couple of feet, and finally I was out. The operations manager who met me when I got out was extremly professional and tended to all my needs, including aranging a car to take me to the airport. I thank her for her support but will never darken the doors of this hotel again.

I have stayed at this hotel many times over the past 10 years. I am never disappointed. The service you receive from arrival to check in on the club floor is exceptional. On this trip I inadvertently left two small plastic bags in the club room as I was checking out. I realized it when I got to the airport and called the hotel. As I was calling the hotel the club floor receptionist was emailing me to tell me they found the bags. I was so impressed by their level of service. Great hotel, great service and a place where I will always return to when traveling in Asia.

Location was awesome. Sheltered walking distance to Erawan Shrine, Central World, Big C, Siam Paragon. Extremely close to Chit Lom BTS station. Breakfast spread was excellent. Staff at front desk and breakfast location courteous. Accomodated to early check in and late check out requests. Only con: pillows are too soft. Will choose to stay again at Renaissance.

the hotel lighting is really very dim and poorly lit (hotel lobby, corridor along hotel room levels, and even inside the room). Makes the hotel feels very eerie. Rooms also require some face lifting as it feels quite dated.

I always live in this hotel when I travel to Bangkok. It's location is perfect - access skywalk directly without having to walk on the street. The swimming pool on 23rd floor has beautiful views. Staffs are very friendly. The only issue is there was oddness in the corridor of level 10.

Read good reviews about this hotel and it didn’t disappoint! The location is very convenient, just a few minutes besides the BTS station. Central World is around the corner! There’s a building besides to go for foot massage and mani/pedicure. The rooms were big and comfortable. We have 2 rooms for our family of four and the nice front desk manager upgraded us to higher floor with interconnecting rooms. The staff are all super nice and helpful! Breakfast spread was quite decent. We missed the Egg Benedict, especially my son who have it every day! If i have to nitpick something, it will be that the toilets blinds were not covering properly when drawn. So the privacy is slightly compromised. Overall super impressive! We will definitely be back!

Stay was comfortable and room was flawless. However the traffic in this area is perpetually bad. On the day we left for the airport we were caught in a terrible traffic jam. If we had stayed in the taxi we would have missed our flight.
