Staff makes the difference here
This hotel is not in the nicest party of town, and it is a bit of a drive from many of the tourist sites, but the price is great (spend a little extra here and get the room with the jetted tub, you'll want it after spending all day on your feet touring).
The staff went over and above to accommodate us during our six night stay. Everyone was friendly and offered advice (my first trip to Bangkok). It was a lot like family.
The hotel is quiet and not crowded. Breakfast can be included in the room price and is simple,, a couple of eggs, sausage, bacon, and a plate of fruit with juice or coffee.
I had my laundry done, everything was washed and perfectly pressed for about $9 USD. They called a car or taxi for us when we needed one (you can get a taxi easily by walking about I've block to the main street).
Because of the location it is easy to get the feel of being local with the food stands in the alleys, scooters for rent etc.

Could do better for cheaper
The only good thing I CAN say about this hotel was that the staff is friendly. Even for the budget price it wasnât a pleasant stay at all. Took almost 45 minutes to checkin with only one person ahead of me, room was not clean, hallways smelled like smoke, breakfast was cold, I was attacked by mosquitoes all night...

Great price
Hot shower, cold aircon, comfortable bed!
Great place to stay for the price. It was a little ways out from all the mojor tourists attractions but Uber and Grab were quick to put that aside.
Never managed to eat in the hotel, too many fantastic street venders! Mall, karaoke bar, markets all within walking distance.
