Communal bathrooms are 2 separate shower rooms and 2 toilets (one male, one female). Clean and well maintained. Only downside is it’s outside and non air conditioned so you begin to sweat right when you get out of the shower. Otherwise room was perfect and staff were nice. Good price for what you get

Overall the location was great. But was surprised that there is no locker inside the rooms to keep your belongings safe. Granted there are lockers at the front desk but they didn't seem big enough for my carry on luggage although I did not test it. I went with my sister would picked a private room and had a lock/key for her door. My shared door room had no lock/key for the door, just a card key access to which 4 other shared door room also had access to and if each door can fit four, that means at least 15/16 people also had access so keep this in mind. Stayed 3 nights and overall it was ok, nothing really bad except that security part but I would not stay here again upon my next visit to bangkok.

Great staff. Very helpful and informed. Nice clean dorms (women only, 2 bunk beds/pod. Drinking water available. Clean Shared shower and washroom. Roof top area available (but I only found out at checkout). Laundry and dryer machines available (coins, I did not use them). Towel, bedsheet and blanket provided. Airconditioning in room (if you can find the remote control and figure out how it works).

Great value and great location

Loftel is great. We had a double room. The shared bathroom was clean and right outside our room - shared with only one other room. The location is excellent - about a 10 minute walk from the metro station and in a great neighbourhood. Highly recommended.

Hôtel agréable. Très bon accueil. Possibilité de manger sur place. Emplacement parfait pour visiter le quartier de Chinatown mais loin à pied des autres points d'intérêt de Bangkok. Ma chambre donnait sur la rue et une fenêtre était cassée, résultat : très bruyant pour dormir.

great hostel, nice location but no elevators

I love the room! The interior shape is very unique. The room is spacious enough for me, shared bathrooms are clean, and the AC is great! Not too far from the metro/Railway/ferry to major sights. A 7-11 is right next to it. Staffs are friendly! The only con is that there’s no elevator, I had to carry my luggage up 4 stairs ...

Excellent hostel!

An excellent hostel all around! Fantastic location, easy access to river boats and many places to eat with walking distance. Staff very helpful, rooms clean although small for four people. A lock box for every person in their headboard. Highly recommended for families!

Hyvä ja siisti hostelli Bangkokissa

Kahden hengen huone oli erinomainen sekä vessat ja suihkut heti ulottuvilla. Erittäin siisti hostelli hyvällä paikalla. Ainoa miinus siitä, että äänieristeitä ei oikein ole, mutta ei haitannut muuten kuin aamulla.

Uncomfortable Bed

In all our hotels/hostels on this trip this has to be by far the hardest mattress. We woke up feeling bruised. Even our sleeper train was better. If we weren’t already switching to another hostel in Bangkok after two days we would have definitely coughed up the money to cancel. Otherwise it was a clean and cute place. They have a very generous luggage policy, in my opinion. We were conveniently located next to the bathrooms and showers (we had a private room). The MRT wasn’t a bad walk away.

Clean hip hostel close to Chinatown

Boy, are we sad this was the first hostel we stayed at because we fear it will make all other hostels look like dumps!!!! We really enjoyed our stay at Loftel 22. The hostel was clean and the staff was pleasant. We stayed in a private double room which shared 2 toilets and 2 showers with 3 other double rooms. Other than the sound of doors opening and closing, the hostel was quiet. Downstairs is a cafe where you can hang out and meet other backpackers. Next door is a 7/11 open 24 hours so that was really convenient for water and any necessities we had forgotten at home. Would definitely stay here again!!

Affordable and great place!

I’ve stayed at hostels before and thought that this one would be just like those other ones I stayed at. I was WRONG! This is one of THE BEST HOSTELS I’ve ever stayed at! The location was GREAT! The place looks small from the front but it’s actually very cute and quite big inside. The staff was amazing and helpful! The downstairs cafe was amazing (must try)! I would totally recommend this place and would DEFINITELY STAY HERE AGAIN!
