This was a great stay! Wonderful location close to yummy street food and markets. Great public transport with the train. Wonderful service, the staff were so lovely and helpful. Easy communication. And the room is really lovely and calming. I traveled and stayed here solo 2 times and it was great for me. Would highly recommend 😊

We absolutely loved the location of this property! Right in the heart of ChinaTown. Immaculately clean. Tiny shower room but we managed. We would definitely stay here again. Beds comfortable and aircon perfect. Loved that there was a fridge too. Thanks for a great stay.

Good location, some noise issues

Lovely little place above a nice and quite cafe. We were able to check in late and they have a lot of trust in allowing people to enter without staff. The steps up to the private and family rooms are very steep so please bare this in mind if you have mobility issues. The room itself was nice, with a wet room. The only issue we had is you can hear other guests. We unfortunately heard another guest being sick the whole night and you could hear everything so sleep was a problem. You also have light coming in from the hallway which you can't shut out. The location itself is great in Chinatown and the metro station is very close. You are just a short walk to the heart of everything. Other things to note: you need to pay a cash deposit of 500 baht on arrival and shoes must be removed downstairs every time you enter the property.

Nice accommodations with Chinatown right out the door. Also a 3 minute walk to the subway which was so cheap and easy. Highly recommended if location is a top priority. Staff were very kind and accommodating too.

Really cool building and decoration, room and aircon were v nice. Great area, loved staying in Chinatown as the food is amazing. Helpful staff as well, let us store a bag so we could leave a little later and booked us a taxi to the airport on their Grab which was very kind. Thanks!

위치가 차이나타운 바로 옆이고 MRT가 가까워서 좋습니다. 하지만 시설이 좋지는 않습니다. 깨끗하고 정돈되어 있지만 넷플릭스를 볼 수 있지만 계속 로딩만 해서 볼 수 없었고 매트릭스가 가운대로 꺼져서 두명에서 잔다면 엄청 힘들 것 같습니다. 매트릭스를 바꿀 필요가 있어 보입니다. 인테리어는 좋았습니다.

Book this adorable spot!

We LOVED our stay at Live Local. It is so hard to find unique properties these days, and this one takes the cake. It was utterly charming, with so many delicate and perfectly appointed touches. The kids loved their little loft, and the staff were so sweet. I am really picky about my hotels, and refuse to stay anywhere without a duvet, as bedspreads ick me out. The beds here were delightful! We got a peek at each of the rooms and they are all lovely. The only downside to the family room is that the bathroom is 'open air' so if anyone is shy, this may not be ideal. The staff are obviously aware, as Maude offered us use of the bathroom next door as there were no guests booked. We were very grateful. Sweet offerings like cookies, water, coffee + tea in the cafe, plus complimentary cafe drinks, and the cutest little leather keychain. After hours check in was a breeze, and their trust in their guests is really quite admirable seeing as you have full access to the cafe and need to ensure the door is closed properly to protect their space. We loved it here.

인테리어 사진 그대로. 너무 예쁘고 좋았다. 화장실이 위가 뚫려 있어 민망하다. 잠잘 때 방음이 잘 되지 않음. 차로 옆이고 큰 길은 아닌데 차가 많이 다녀서 시끄러웠다. 주변이 차이나타운인데 미슐랭에 선정된 곳도 있고 은근히 맛집이 많은듯. 택시 타고 이동해서 다녀야 함.

We had such an amazing stay at Live Local. The location was great - very close to some nice markets with lots of food options and there is a little area just a couple blocks away with some nice bars (and lots of expats) as well as a friendly Japanese bar and restaurant right next door. The staff were all so very friendly and made our stay really enjoyable. They add many small touches to give you a nicer experience than most places and really care about your comfort. Everything was so clean and worked well (no problems with hot water or water pressure, the A/C worked really well, the bed was comfortable, etc). The rooftop is so quaint and nice and there is always coffee, tea, water, and little cookies for you to enjoy downstairs. They also have a little cafe downstairs where you can purchase other delicious items. It rained while we were there and our room had something like a tin roof so you could hear that while it rained, but we found it to be very soothing and slept even better because of it, but if you think it would be bothersome to you, you may want to consider a different place or just contact the owners and ask which room you would be in (I think our room was the only one with this roof because of the way the building is set up and even the hallway outside our room was very quiet). We fell in love with Thailand and are already planning our return visit and we will definitely book at Live Local again. They really left a very wonderful impression on us.

Awesome Vintage Hostel

Since my friend will be there a day earlier than me and her flight was in the mid night, the host was super helpful! Not only helped my friend to arrange car pick up, also checking with us if everything alright before the flight landing and during our stay. The Chinese-Thai inner design of the hostel also super cool that i must to say. If you're looking for somewhere that stylish or fancy about vintage stuff, i highly recommend this for you! Overall the hostel very nice and neat, where just one block to the China town. The only thing you have to be aware is the distance to the station takes about 10-15mins by walk (but you can hop on tuk tuk) and little noisy at night cause it close to the main road and raining.
