The room was very clean, comfortable and a good retreat from the craziness of the city.
The staff were excellent, one of the best customer service experiences I have had at a hotel. The restaurant service was fantastic as well.
This was my first trip to Thailand, so I wasn’t sure what to expect from breakfast but I was very impressed. There was everything you need, great americanos and very fresh food.
When my son wasn’t feeling well, they even delivered food up to our room so he wouldn’t miss breakfast.
My only negative experience was that the hot tub was under repair and the pool is freezing. While it’s a welcome temperature on a hot day, my little ones didn’t enjoy the temp.
About the area: it is about a 5 min walk to the MRT. Our big error was not buying a SIM card at the airport (which was the same price as 7-11), and understanding how easy it is to navigate the train system.
We waited so long for taxis our first two days, sometimes over an hour at the hotel (even from GRAB). And one taxi we took at 7pm ended up taking over 90 mins for a journey that would normally be 20.
